The Lyme had been affecting his organs from what I had been hearing. Yesterday, he had a heart attack and died. This disease sucks.

How old was he?
Lyme affects the whole body for sure.
But there are also many other things that could make him have a heart attack. Like did he ever smoke? Or was he around a smoker?
Was he over weight?
I think that about 6 in 10 people have lyme now. But if someone has a really good immune system it does not rear its ugly head.
Like many women on here, husbands have lyme too, but have no problems with it at all.
I think it has to do with our childbearing and hormones.
2004 in Martha's Vineyard me and my two daughters then 11 mos and 6 all got Lyme Disease. This was only known to us because we found the tiny ticks on us and we got very ill. My dog also got lyme and he went lame.
We have fought it for 4 years to no avail.
We all got it again this summer is Texas.
I am now in treatment in Scottsdale Arizona at Envita.

Lyme took a toll on him. He was in bad shape from it this last year. Not sure how old he was.

ttlittlestar, this is so sad.  My heart goes out to his family and friends.

You may want to let his family know about the National Lyme Disease Memorial Park Project at http://www.lymememorial.org/
