I have never heard about it, but I will try and maybe some of you are interested too.

Here it goes:

put about 10 drops of natural rosemary oil in a bow (or bucket)l with warm water; put a towel in soaking, wring it out, put it on the body side where the liver is, relax / laydown and rest with it for 20 to 30 minutes;
helps the liver to detox.

I found this when I was googling for liver detoxing;
(sorry that the website is in German; for those who want to know/ look at it nevertheless: http://burgenland.orf.at/magazin/imland/geniessen/stories/6847/)

Good luck for our livers!! dorit

Hi Dorit,

I am wondering if you tried this liver detox with the rosemary?  I have never done a liver detox (I always wanted to) but now I am really worried about my baby brother who is having liver problems (could be related to his so-called remission from melanoma cancer, I hope not!).

I found some other links (in english as I can't read german) about liver detoxing, one recipe sounds very familiar to me but I don't know if I could drink olive oil!!

It states for about 5 or so days to only eat apples or drink apple juice.  Then comes these 4 ingredients:

- Apple juice or malic acid supplements
- 4 tblspoons of Epsom Salts.
- 1/2 Cup of Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 big grapefruit, or 3 lemons

Sounds just yummy, huh?

Hope you are feeling well,
Denise

It's all about the Immune System mixed with a large dose of Positive Thinking and Daily Detoxing

This song is about my years with chronic lyme since 1995 and being in remission for over 3 years:

Hi Deejavu,

I am so sorry to hear that your brother is not well. I wish him all the best for recovery.

Yes I tried the first "rosemary - compresses" today, feels good for me. I can handle the smell - I was not sure before.

I looked into the link -Thanks for sharing!!
It seems like it is for a very fundamental cleaning without much compromises - that sounds interesting.
I could handle the olive oil cause I love it and can easily swallow a spoonful without anything; the oil from olives is the only one that tastes like some fruit to me and not like oil / fat.

greetings, dorit

I actually did that method of detox (the apple juice one) years ago and passed  tiny gallstones, so it detoxes your gallbladder as well. Just wanted to mention this as many Lymies have gallbladder issues and might want to be careful of this method if your gallbladder is compromised.   D
