call this lucky or  not, but the lady who just moved in across the road from me also has cronic lymes. she has a Dr. appointment tomorrow and is going to ask  if he will see me and take the health care program i am on. crossing all my fingers and toes. she is also on a test program and going to check into this for me.only thing is its in boston Ma. and i am in Tx. and no money or job :(

I just sit and shake my head we have to go through all this bull for treatment its unreal. its worse then AIDS lest they was treated , and testing  for a cure.  they know lymes is out there and running ramped. and yet they sit on there fat wallets taking everything from us  but dont help us. it just blows my mind this is happing to  folks in the USA, 3rd world countrys get better treatment  on US dallors. i find that so wrong!!

Does your neighbor know where she was when she was bitten? At least now you have someone nearby who can understand what you are going through. Hope you can get some help soon! Still praying!

Rottendog,

Yayyyyyyyyy!!!!! This is not luck. It is a blessing. Now you have someone to sort of lean on and compare notes. I pray that doctor takes you as a probono case. That would be awesome! Saying some prayers and crossing all fingers and toes for you RD!!

thank you so much GG, i am still keeping my ID appointment on the 4th. but i pray her Dr. will take me.he seems willing as long as his advisers ok it first sounds to me. maybe once i get my foot in the door i can open it up for others who also suffer.

i have never been one to sit by and watch, or let others suffer if there was something i could do to help. who knows maybe this is my perpose in life. i hope i'm up to it no matter what.

hoping, so far i dont knwo anything but soon as i do i will let you know and everyone else here. if you read my post on the lyme demond i wroght lastnight you will see how i feel about how we are treated or lack there of. just like my friend whos Dr. told here there is no lyme here, soon as i get his name i will be at his door to show him lymes is here!!! i will stuff it down there throghts you name it so we can get treated for this demond they call lyme disease. or at lest i will long as my brain is working that is.

wishing everyone better days ahead

WOW RD! Way to go! Pro Bono, you lucky DAWG! Still, let the rest of us not forget how valuable RD is, in this case. These smart Drs can learn a LOT from evaluating and treating RDs infections!

yes i want treatment but not just for myself i want it for everyone, we shouldnt have to fight for it. we need to be able to rest to fight the disease. thats where our battle should be. i dont think IADS folks had to fight halfe as much for treatment. why look at me as tho i did something wrong. any Dr. who does this shouldnt be in pratice in my book. and i think the ones who do treat but wont take ins is wrong too. we alll should have the right to propper treatment. and as long as i live and breath i will fight for that right.and if i was able i would go to DC and show em what they are doing to this country along with others.

1 man can move a hill but a army of men can move a Mt. to me getting my local news staion on board is the 1st step to doing this.

thank you for the wishes and thoughts, as your in mine :)

I cant wait to bring a copy of a pos test to my old docs who said lyme isnt around here too. Thank god for this new developemed RD!
The line is faded not showing where Lyme came in. I became a new Mommy n my Lyme decided to show itself. Swollen elephant like knee and finger and limiting back pain. Bell's palsey, weight loss as if I had no muscle on my bones anymore. And much more text book lyme symptoms. To a Lyme doc, after alot of there is nothing wrong with you and a recommend to counceling,he said V this is Lyme. What kept me pressing on I had Lyme while I was pregnant. I know I was not infected while pregnant. I am watching her with an eagle eye. God Bless everyone. Love Veronica. Were the ones who know about Lyme not the doctors. Isnt that just mad? Backwards. Alice in wonderland.
