My balance is so off...when I DO walk around, I feel like I am a zombie. I can't concentrate at all and I just feel like my legs are going to give out. I'm moving so slow and need to hold onto something.

No, I am not on treatment. I posted my WB results on another thread that I started - you can find them there. I don't have a very conclusive test result.

No, you are not alone. I feel this way too. I feel best (which isn't saying much-lol) when I'm laying down or in a reclining position.

That's EXACTLY what I just told my mom on the phone. It took everything I had to gain the courage to walk over to the computer. If the laptop was working, I doubt I'd ever leave the couch or recliner.

Scorpio - forgive me, but are you taking abx and have you been diagnosed? Sorry I can't keep everyone straight...what are your symptoms?

Jendays: Have you had your B12 level checked? A deficiency will cause very weak legs and fatigue. Its a simple blood test you can have done by your family doc. I would suggest it if it has not been done.   D

I asked my PCP to test my b12 a few years ago and it was at 357...since then I've been taking sublingual b12 and just had it checked again and it is 1050.

I can't keep everything (actually anything-lol) straight either so feel free to ask as often as you like. Heck, I can't even keep straight what I'm doing most of the time. lol

I was sick for at least 7 years before being offically diagnosed in February. Blood tests continue to come back negative but a SPECT scan indicated severe abnormalities and a brain MRI showed lesions. Also had neuro-cognitive testing done. In February, I started with Zithro, Mepron, Mino, Art and various supplements. In March, IV Rocephin was added. I was told the brain issues are usually the last to clear up and would need a minimum of 6 months of IV's for any chance of recover or reversal.

Since you are much younger than I am and probably have not been sick for as long, I'm sure you will have a better shot at responding more quickly to whatever protocol your doctor prescribes.

So you do have lyme? sure sounds like it.
Look at the beginning of the forum..the list is long on all of the symptons. Long.......
Hang in there...lots of people are getting better. You just have to decide on what treatment that you want to do. and that you can afford to do. /since insurance sucks!
2004 in Martha's Vineyard me and my two daughters then 11 mos and 6 all got Lyme Disease. This was only known to us because we found the tiny ticks on us and we got very ill. My dog also got lyme and he went lame.
We have fought it for 4 years to no avail.
We all got it again this summer is Texas.
I am now in treatment in Scottsdale Arizona at Envita.

I called it my old lady days. Tried to make it funny for my kids when I could not walk...or did not know who the hell they were...lol
Hold onto stuff.....be careful....don't even think of wearing your heels.
Keep the floor clear of stuff...pets too.
Be careful about driving.
Sounds like vertigo or it is like walking really drunk.
Be careful...many on here have fallen.
So take care.
