Just wondering...all of my tests were normal. ANA,CRP,RA test,c6(you know all of the compliments),CBC,everything... Except hypothyroid(never had an issue before with this...don't fit the picture), vitaminD normal and B12 normal. Anyone else normal on all of these tests that most Lyme patients are not???

History: had rash, never went to the doc. Was not typical but definite Lyme rash.(if I only went then).
Vague symptoms then, none until 5 months later got 2 flu sicknesses and then all of the fun began. Pain, more pain, swollen glands on back of head, heels hurt, shoulder pain, stabbing ankle pain, finger pain, ears ringing and blocked, crushing fatigue, neck pain, creaks, back of head pain, pinprick pains in chest-by heart,insomnia....so the story continues. In my 6th month of treatment. Cycle every 3 weeks. When I am off meds symptoms return. More and more good days...but still not there yet. I think I am stuck in this yuk forever.funny all of this and great labwork.

I don't know all of the specific tests that were run during the course of my search for a cause, but nothing was ever abnormal. Only exception was a slightly high bilirubin count way early in the process.

Me! All normal...ANA, B12, SED, Thyroid, all 'routine' labs always normal...the only thing that was ever abnormal was my hormones and they were only slightly abnormal; I saw an endocrinologist and he ran further testing which proved they were indeed normal with only a slightly elevated testosterone for which he said I needed no treatment for unless I really WANTED to go on birth control pills.
Current treatment (began June 10th 2009):
Biaxin 1000mg/day, Pulsing Flagyl 500mg/day 1 Week Every Month

It is Labrador retreivers that I love. They are the best.

I am with an awesome LLMD. Even the bloodwork he ran back in Sept was normal. Except my WB, more bans popped up positive and "ind" from igenex. I am in my 6th month of treatment feeling so much better than last summer but still have pain and herxes and all the fun. I went 14 months with no diagnosis. Thanks to a couple docs that had no clue. SO clueless....I don't think I will ever shake the anger I have towards them. LOVE for them to feel my crunchy neck for one day...then tell me there's nothing wrong!!!

Hi -

I was tested for multiple diseases, lyme being one of them. Everything was normal except for my lyme test.

The only other abnormality that I had was low potassium and high B12.

sounds like the coinfection
EHRLICHIA
1. Flu-like symptoms of severe headaches, very painful muscles, low WBC counts or elevated liver enzymes
2. Testing insensitive

TREATMENT OF EHRLICHIA
1. Doxy 200 mg bid
2. Rifampin 300 mg bid
The line is faded not showing where Lyme came in. I became a new Mommy n my Lyme decided to show itself. Swollen elephant like knee and finger and limiting back pain. Bell's palsey, weight loss as if I had no muscle on my bones anymore. And much more text book lyme symptoms. To a Lyme doc, after alot of there is nothing wrong with you and a recommend to counceling,he said V this is Lyme. What kept me pressing on I had Lyme while I was pregnant. I know I was not infected while pregnant. I am watching her with an eagle eye. God Bless everyone. Love Veronica. Were the ones who know about Lyme not the doctors. Isnt that just mad? Backwards. Alice in wonderland.

my temp is always 96 or 97. Thought it could be thyroid related. Could symptoms of coinfections not come out for 5 months???? I am on mepron/zith for possible babs.

Heels hurt too...Lyme????

I am just a mess

all my life my temp has run 97.6. it also runs in my family tho, so this wasnt a key to lyme for me.

I was in the hospital back in April for 5 days. One of the main reasons they kept me was for a White Blood Count that was double my normal level. Otherwise everything was okay. It was normal when I left.
