well it didnt go to good for me  no matter how i look at it.  my test for trigs came back at 415 this time from 356 3 months ago. so back on the meds for that witch caused me extrem body pain.

my hole body felt like 1 huge bruse. this is not good. I did get my celberex back as my liver is working great still, after 1 yr being on it.

he told me point blank he would not talk to me about lyme. he did his job by testing me and sending me to  a ID. his job is done now. he was not alouwed the time to talk to me about lyme so he said. i guess he got in trouble of some kind by the  others in the office.

I asked if he could send me to someone for allergy testing to see what abx i can take to help in my healing prosses. he said no to me. i am so upset that not 1 flipping Dr. in this part of Texas seems to give a flip. its like i am running into a brick wall no matter were i go and who i see.

only ones whom care are not able to treat me and the ones who can treat dont give a care.

maybe if i was to drink a bottle of bleach skull then they would take this to heart. i would too if i knew it would  kill the lyme and not me  nono ..lol j/k folks rolleyes

he also placed me on a B complex to help with the burning and pain  in my hands. it just blows my mind that any Dr. will pass out pills for this and that. knowing you have lyme. but will not give you the right meds to  get over lyme. i'm no rocket sci. but i know this cost a lot more money in the long run. for my celbrex alone they have paid out over 1500.  in 1 yr and  now  with the bagapiniton  it will be dobble that as they are about the same price for 30 days worth. if i was a ins compy i would want to play what is cheaper not place a 100 band-aids on and wound that needed stiches.

I'm so sorry for all you're going through. I wish you could get out of there and see a better doctor - one who knows what they're doing.

Please visit the Texas Lyme Disease Association's website at http://www.txlda.org/about.htm and contact them. SOMEONE MUST POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

I wish you the very best and you'll be in my thoughts!!!

I'm hanging in there...today was probably the best day so far since I started getting sicker and then started treatment. I'm a week in and done with my first Flagyl pulse. We shall see...

I hope so much that you find someone that will treat you! I didn't realize I was actually lucky being in Michigan. Don't stop until you find a doctor, and I'll keep looking for you as well!!!

I found a doctor for you in Dallas...is that too far?

EDIT: I looked at your facebook to see where you are in Texas, and after mapquesting I see that Dallas is about 6 hours from you...from what I've read so far about this doctor, she is very educated and determined when it comes to battling lyme.

Is there any way you could get to her? Let me know if you want her name and all of the information.

i whent to the site you posted, but cant find how you found Dr. who treat lyme in Tx. how did you find the list? i may can find 1 closer to me who will take my ins program.

Rottendog,

I swear, if I felt good, I would drive to your house and pick you up!!!! You don't deserve to be treated like this. Something needs to be done. You have a positive test!! I could understand maybe if it wasn't positive but it's positive. My God, this is just unbelievable. Maybe write to that association that Jen posted. Maybe they can help you some way. I'm actually shocked that there's a doctor here in Louisiana. You would think Texas would have one there before us since it is the Lonestar tick.

I'm sorry, I'm just so frustrated for you and it makes me so upset that I cannot do anything!!

Another thing I forgot to tell you. Cholesterol meds have a rare side effect that can make your body or back ache. My husband had this happen to him and even though he's off of it now, he still suffers sometimes. You may want to try something more natural. I'll look some things up when I am feeling a little better. I had some names saved in case my husband had to get back on the meds. I will ask the lady that supplies my supplements too.

I found the doctor by googling lyme doctors in texas, and a lyme forum came up with someone talking about their experience with a specific doctor in Dallas.

CG, thank you hun for your consern, i have been calling every tip i get and all roads lead to a dead end here for me so far. this doesnt mean i am given up tho. you have a good heart for wanting to help as we all do. this disease is awefull to have on its own, but then you throw in the Dr. BS addatued and it just makes it so much worse.

Turquoise Sky, thank you for your prayers as i pray for everyone here, i agree its awefull the crap we are made to suffer along with this disease. i cant belive it myself. i sit here shaking my head at the Dr. who dont give a flip. i know there is the possablity one can die from lyme. yes i am scared but my resorese are low to nothing at all most times.

Jen, once again thank you for trying to help me. i am not good at suffing then web..lol
i really do aprishate it. i wish it was closer to me. i saw in there post that lyme is higher then AIDS now. yet is i had AIDS i could get treatment here, this is sad very sad . its just wrong!!

i guess my next step is to go to my PCP for every little ache and pain and force him into giveing me abx. till i have stokepiled enough to treat myself with em. its all i can think of to do. any in put on this is welcomed. i am at my wits end now.

Rottendog,
Sorry things are not going so well for you. Until you find a  LLMD, I would take a good Fish oil (4grams;which helps also w/ joint pain of LD) and COQ10 to help w/ your Triglyceride numbers. I would also start taking Grapefruit seed extact (nature's own abx) w/ a pro-biotic along w/ Milk thistle to help flush the toxins out. I also had crazy trig #'s and high blood pressure (all from LD) which are fine now but, still fighting LD. This is stirctly just a suggestion as I am not a DR. but, I myself would do whatever I could to try to treat LD until I was able to find a Dr. who was knowledgeable and able to treat accordingly. I wish you well in your quest for health and a good doc.

ljantler, thank you for the advice. i am taking fish oil, pro biotics, calcum-D, B complx, meclizine, celebrex, gabapenton,& trilipix right now, i did manage to get a script for azithromycin 500mg with 1 refil. i am milking it for all i can too. iam just not sure 3 pills every 10 days is enought.

the trilipix is for my trigs, he is hoping it will bring it down. my BP is now normal for the first time in my life, it used to be very low norm for me was 80/50 to 70/40, now its 118/60

again thank you all for the concerns and help :)
