YES.....I have them right now. In fact I have had them off and on for years since becoming sick. Mine last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. I was just talking to my husband about them the other day telling him I had the cracks on my mouth again and that I hadn't had them in a while!

I had them all the time before I was on meds.

Funny thing, I was off my meds for 2 weeks and all of my symptoms came back pretty hard. Including the mouth cracks. I have been in treatment for 7 months. That was by far my worst 2 week break. Felt better on the medicine and the cracks went away.
I am on mepron/zithro....seems endless.

Cracks at the corner of the mouth can also indicate B vitamin deficiencies...

Specifically B12 which is depleted by lyme and should be supplemented.  It can cause a lot of symptoms similar to lyme.

This all scares me because I keep seeing little symptoms in both of my girls. I will probably have to have them both tested. My oldest has ADHD and I read that if any child has that, to test for Lyme.

Cracks on the sides of the mouth can also be candida and if B Deficiency, its normally B2, riboflavin.  D

Keep in mind that Lyme may interfere with absorption and/or utilization of nutrition (vitamins & minerals, fatty acids, etc.). I believe this is partly why there are so many things that Lyme can do to the body.

It is one of the many symptoms I have. Just was wondering if anyone else experienced them. My b12 was fine and I still got them. Not making light of peoples more serious things but thought this was a place I could ask those questions. I'll think more about it before I post next time. Sorry if I offended you in any way. Sure didn't mean to. And another thing they are a big deal to me.

Lovelabs, I like so many of the folks in here joined to ask and find out all we can about lyme. wondering if other have so of the same things as you do. no matter who off the wall or trival there are.

what may seem minor to one can be a big issue to another. in my book ask any and everything you feel like.

me myself and i. think if you dont like a post and cant be nice and respect them dont make a comment to it.

i can say this. i have been in many other sites that i have left do to fussing and fighting. its never right to hurt others feelings.

and if admin thing my post it to abrupt plz delet it

Lovelabs,

This is a place to ask questions. That is what this forum is for. Ask what you need to ask and don't worry about immature people. Some symptoms bother some people worse than others. In my opinion, I don't think my brain fog is as bad as the pain and fatigue I have. Others here think that their brain fog is their worse symptom. Everyone is different and we need to respect others opinions.

Yep had m too. Never had it before I got bit by a tick and got Lyme. Ofcourse my doc cannot explain it. I tested vitamin B a couple of times and never had a deficiency.
I usually get one after I consumed a few beers. I noticed that I got it a couple of times after I went to a birthday party and had a minor alchohol buzz. Don't know if the alchohol does something to upset my metabolism. Maybe vitamin B after all? Maybe candida from the antibiotics? Although I've been off them for quite a while now and only had 30 days oral.  I had them more frequently since I allowed myself to consume alchohol again, when I started feeling healthy enough to give myself "permission" to do so.
It's not the most serious of symptoms but what annoys me is that it's another one of those vague weird complaints, like my creaking joints or muscle fasculations. And ofcourse no one can tell you whether or not you still actually have active Lyme or not. Long live the antibody tests   smurf

Alcoholic beverages temporarily deplete B Vitamins. By the time you get tested, the body has restored blood levels (by robbing B vitamins from tissues) to maintain homeostasis.
