I THOUGHT THIS WAS VERY WORTHY OF A REPEAT - THANK YOU FOR THIS POST KITT!

Dear Friends,

1. No discussion of any illegal activity or threats of violence. (ie. illicit drug use or exchange, threats of suicide or self-injury, or threatened or intended physical harm).  Discussions of suicide or self-harm that are deemed negative and therefore potentially injurious to others are also not permitted.

Due to the anonymity of the site and the fact that this is a peer support group and not responsible for calling any authority on any member that threatens suicide, we strongly encourage members to call the hotline , 911, a family member or a friend, or to check themselves in to the local hospital emergency room.

National Suicide Hotline
1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433)
This is a combined network of the Amerian Association of Suicidology, the National Hopeline Network, CONTACT USA, and many other organizations. Call are automatically routed to the nearest crisis center to the phone from which the call for help is placed.

Thank you in advance for you understanding.

If any member has problems with depression we have a great forum that addresses depression and you will find wonderful support and advice in the Depression Forum.

Gentle Hugs

Kitt

Could you not make this a sticky? Since you have all the moderator superpowers now?

While you may think we have "super powers", only Admin can make stickies.

We are just mere mortals as you...We just volunteered for this!

I will see though how maybe we can make this a link somewhere, somehow.

The rules are already on the boards posted by the Administrator  :) You can sticky the emergency numbers by requesting Admin to do so as only he has the ability to make a sticky.

I deleted your bumps as this will go back to top for a few minutes.  LOL.

Good Morning,

You are doing a mighty fine job as a new Moderator and I am so glad you are working on learning all the ins and outs of moderating.  I am still learning and I have been at it for a while now.

Ahh. Now I've had my laugh of the day!

Didn't you know there are "volunteer" superpowers as well as admin ones? They just might take some time to master. tongue

For example,
The superpower of staying up all night to moderate us crazy folks (don't deny it CajunGirl!)

Nicky,

I'm "crazy" right along with you:p Yep, I'm up late most nights but it's not to moderate you, haha! It's because I cannot sleep:( If you notice my posts before being given my "super powers", I was on all night then too.

I'm glad you had a good laugh though. Us Lymies need that every once and a while.
