For the past week or so I've had SO much twitching on the right side of my body, very little on the left...WHAT THE HECK?!

I never had this before!
Current treatment (began June 10th 2009):
Biaxin 1000mg/day, Pulsing Flagyl 500mg/day 1 Week Every Month

Hmmmmmmm, could it be that maybe....just maybe, those little bacteria are being killed off? I sure hope so!

Jen,

Sounds like it! If you could see how my hand jerks up in the air, you would trip out. I get muscle twitching and jerks. Sometimes I have spasms too.

Well I suppose it could be three things...normal disease progression (blah), a side effect from a months worth of abx built up in my system, orrrrrrrr like you said, die-off.

I didn't start having twitching until I got on antibiotics. Others may have had a different experience but from people I've spoken too, the twitching started after the meds.

Don't let it freak you out. It can't hurt you.

RD,

The twitching can also happen if you take antibiotics for other things over the two years you had it.
