I've been reading about and looking at pictures of Bartonella rashes...

In the last year or so I HAVE gained weight...but the stretch marks I have had in the past have always been white...on the back side of my mid section I have red ones that look just like Bart rashes I've been looking at. The only thing is...they haven't gone away, gotten worse, or gotten better. They do not itch.

I'm going to take a pic I think and post it.
Current treatment (began June 10th 2009):
Biaxin 1000mg/day, Pulsing Flagyl 500mg/day 1 Week Every Month

The only thing is...they are near where I have other white stretch marks. Maybe you can tell in the pic. The white ones aren't really obvious unless I pull on the skin like I did to take the picture. I don't know what to think, but I was shocked to see what the bartonella rashes looked like! Mine are slightly raised and do look "stretched" sort of...lol maybe I'm looking for an excuse for stretch marks.

Sorry if I look like some kind of contortionist...LOL...it was really hard to take a picture of my own back from an angle you can actually see them.

Mine look like yours but they are wider. I wonder if what I have is a bart rash or old stratchmarks? Does the bart make the old stratchmarks you have not heal? I have purple looking ones too.

Your marks do look like what I have.

I tested negative for bart but have been treated for it since September. Definately improving since treatment. Don't trust the test! There are many strains of bartonella and I think they only test for one.
And it is a B--Tch to get rid of.

Even the Igenex test isn't accurate? You'd think for $300 it would be.

It is not that the test not accurate, it is that they only can test for one or 2 strains, and there are many many strains of babesia.

I had the igenex test and it came up negative. Yet I had and have many symptoms of bartonella. Especially the bottom of the foot pain, bart, the classic rash, veins and more.

I've had (very rarely) burning in both of my feet...my left foot is burning a little bit right now...these are bart things right?
