I have been having problems with my stomach bloating, when this happens I feel short of breath.  Does anyone one else have issues with their stomach.

I'm on my second 30 days of Doxy.

I feel miserable.

You must be taking Good Probiotics if your taking Antibiotics. I took Doxy for almost 2 years and always had stomach issues. I stopped after throwing up blood. I just tried to take it again and my body said no way.

Make sure you always eat something with it too and take the probitics at least 2 houes before or 2 hours later. I try to wake up in the middle of the night to take my probiotics.

I also just bought a product called yeast away it is probiotics with a extra enzyme in it that really attacks yeast. I hope it works for me my friend benifited so much from it.

Good Luck, I hope your tummy feels better soon.

3WhiteRoses,

You definitely need to take some high quality probiotics. You can get it at your local health food store. The refrigerated one is best.

Here is my problem:

I have two different kinds of probiotics, but I'm afraid to take them. I'm not sure if I will have a reaction - I have had so much sensitivity this past year. I know it sounds crazy, but my body does not react to meds well.

Has anyone had any issues with probiotics?

I had a lot of bloating whilst on 'doxy' I stopped them - drank mostly water for four days - only a few pieces of wholemeal toast - on the fourth day of this I had really bad diarhea then had 'some weird stuff in bowel movement - since then I have had no stomach probs. I am now on Amoxicillin also I take a probiotic 2 hours or so after abx.

I also had acid reflux at the time of bloating. - I believe it was all part of 'herxing'

Probiotics are very natural. It has the natural stuff your body needs. I am extremely sensitive to medicine and I take probiotics with no problem. If you don't protect your stomach somehow, you may wind up with ulcers or stomach issues. I've had ulcers before and was on stomach medicine for years. My stomach would never "get right". Ever since I've taken probiotics and another supplement called GI Nutrients, I've felt alot better. Ive gotton off of my stomach medicine and have been off for about 3 or 4 months now.

I don't advise anyone to get off of any medicine before consulting their physician. This was just my experience.

I've heard good things about apple cider vineger. It's supposed to be very beneficial to the body.

I stopped by antibiotics in hopes of getting the yeast problem under control; however, today if feel horrible like I was before I started antibiotics. I feel frustrated....wondering if I'm going to get better.
