I'm just wondering why Flagyl is so hard on most people...for me, either right now I am just getting worse...or the Flagyl is wreaking havoc on my immune system. I can't figure out which thing it is, but I'm at a breaking point and I'm not sure how much more I can take. If this doesn't ease up soon I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
My neuro symptoms are about a thousand times worse than usual, and I can't stand it. I finished my Flagyl today.
Current treatment (began June 10th 2009):
Biaxin 1000mg/day, Pulsing Flagyl 500mg/day 1 Week Every Month
"...and isn't it a kind of madness to be living by a code of silence when you've really got a lot to say...?"

Jendays247, always let your doctor know what you are experiencing.  Do you think you could be herxing?

You may want to ask your doctor about Tinidazole.  It is similar to Flagyl but is supposed to be easier to tolerate.

Flagyl was HORRIBLE with me. It scares me to think about it.
