i have been haven this issue for a few weeks not but the time frame is lasting longer and longer each time now. its a pressure in my head and makes my eyes feel like they are about  to pop out of my head, and everything is so blurry. right now i am seeing double.

i was at my PCP today and why waiting to see him i almost passed out. when i told him this he didnt even check my BP or anything. just looked at my hands and face. i am a lil confused about this and worried too.

anyone else have these issues? input would be gratefully accepted thank you.

Hi,

I'm sorry you have it.

I had head and eye pressure many times and after a few weeks or 1-2 months it disappeared.
Also, I had pain in my eyes.

When I have it, I have to use 3-4 pillows and I sleep almost in sitting position.

I tried to relax all day and drink a lots of water.
have lyme for about 4.5 years. I've just got positive lyme test.
(sorry about my English, it is not my mother tongue)

Just to be safe I would go see a Opthamologist. My first symptom was Optic Nuertitus, which led to my MS Diagnosis.  I had alot of pain and bad vision. I think normally it's only in one eye at a time, I could be wrong. I had 4 bouts in 6 months it would last about 6 weeks clear up and the nexy day my other eye would go out, no fun. I have not had since starting antibiocs years ago.

last night i had the feeling again of my eyes popping out of my head. when i was able to half way see straight i looked into the mirror and my pupils where very small almost like a pin dot. it was also dark and i had no lights on. they should of been large nor small.

it lasted for about 7 hrs b4 i was able to see as clear as i can, i was thinking may when this happens next time to go to the ER. but then i think what good would that do me if they do not believe or understand Lyme disease.

input would be grateful.

I don't know what I would do. I think alot I should go to the ER they have to help me right. But ever since I mentioned Lyme to them they get me out the door quick.

I was thinking when I go to Conneticut to see LLMD that I would go to the ER the first night with my bladdar problems, it feels like I have an infection, it might just be my Nuero system playing tricks on me. The Urologist here found a Bacteria in my urine they have never seen before at first they were concerned now there blowing me off.

I figured  if I went to an ER on the East Coast they might be able to figure it out. I don't trust many of the Drs where I live. Not sure if my Insurance will cover Er out of state.

Sorry no answer to youy question. It just got me wondering the same thing.

Beth, i can so understand were your coming from there. it feels to me that my PCP has washed his hands of me after finding out i have lyme. b4 that he was so nice and caring, but now he is a hurry to get me out of there as fast as he can.

we shouldn't be made to feel we can not get treatment for other issues just cause we have lyme. this in its self is a form of decimation. and last time i looked it was illegal. since when is having lyme a crime, witch is how it has made me feel.

check into your ins to find out of they cover out of state b4 you go. if they ask why. just say your going on vacation or visiting family or friends. and need to cover all basses.

James, i have the eye twitching thing too, and yes it is very annoying. i hope it lets up for you soon.

At least you have a couple of good seeing eye dogs up your sleeve.
Just joking!!!! You ok kid?
The line is faded not showing where Lyme came in. I became a new Mommy n my Lyme decided to show itself. Swollen elephant like knee and finger and limiting back pain. Bell's palsey, weight loss as if I had no muscle on my bones anymore. And much more text book lyme symptoms. To a Lyme doc, after alot of there is nothing wrong with you and a recommend to counceling,he said V this is Lyme. What kept me pressing on I had Lyme while I was pregnant. I know I was not infected while pregnant. I am watching her with an eagle eye. God Bless everyone. Love Veronica. Were the ones who know about Lyme not the doctors. Isnt that just mad? Backwards. Alice in wonderland.

ohh yeah blue loves the water, but after it rains and there is puddles he will push me into it to miss walking in one. good seeing eye dog...lol

i just found out i have a EEG set up for the 23rd and a spinal tap for the 28th. they want me sleepy for the EEG, no problem there. but i have to be caffeine free for 24 hrs b4 the test, that is a biggy for me, as i live off my dews :(

i am starting to think my eye issues are in part of a migraine now as it happen to me last night afterwards. but it is lasting for longer times as they go.

i am terrorfied of losing my sight, and or the damage to my brain. and all i keep thinking is no treatment to way to bet it b4 this happens.

Hi. You might want to see an opthalmologist plus have bloodwork done to rule out conditions that may be present in addition to Lyme disease. Why didn't your doctor check your bp? Or run some diagnostic tests on you? Just to rule out high blood pressure, thyroid problems, diabetes, glaucoma, or anything that may be present in addition to Lyme disease. And btw, if your physician isn't offering you any other course of treatment, it may be time to move on. He may be at the end of his realm of expertise in dealing with Lyme disease, and someone who specializes in it or is more fluent in its treatment may better serve your needs. In regard to the pcp you see currently, considering his lack of engagement, you might want to evaluate whether he meets the standard of care you would desire in a general practitioner. Best of luck to you!

I have the same problem.....I had it for 6 years now....it comes and goes......but my eye seems to swell every time it does. I usually just ignore it or I "push" my eye in forcefully(not to hard). it sometimes works. or I just ice my face. don't try the pushing if the eye pressure is too much ok? nono
