How long have you been on treatment?
I have been on treatment since Oct. and starting to wonder if really am I significantly better?   Also, I don't get it, how there isn't consensus among LLMD on some basic issues especially the well known top ones.
I go to one of these and asked if the red little spots that Bart. causes (which you hear everyone mention/basically common knowledge) go away once the bart. is treated for and starts to be taken care of.  I was expecting to hear the answer yes because I have heard others say this here on the forum.  Well, the response I got was quite surprising to me.  It was that Bart doesn't cause those spots.  What!!! I could't beleive this was the answer.   I don't agree with this at all, and know I'm left having a lot less confidence and becoming more frustrated.

I have treated now for 2.5 yrs, following Dr. B's protocol.  I was only ill 9 months before treatment, and very ill for 3 months before treatment!

I am still not 100%. Yes I have days when I wonder..

But I truly think we are dealing with so many things other than Lyme, that it takes awhile for our body to catch up.

So many of us deal with hidden viruses, thyroid, detox etc...that we really take awhile to get built back up again.

I guess the hard part is knowing when Lyme and Co's are beaten and time to address the others.

I have been told that the red spots (dots) are Babs by the way.

Yes, thankfully the brain fog did improve...BUT it took me almost a year of treatment to be able to think and talk straight!

I'm beyond frustrated. I've had symptoms since 1978, but the symptoms that really have interfered with my life started in 1983. I didn't get a diagnosis until 2007, and then in 2008 was told I was too sick to be treated. Frustrated? That's a HUGE understatement!!!!!
