I'm trying to figure out why I had such a good couple of days and now I'm back to feeling bad again (almost as bad as when I was on Flagyl). I know some people feel worse, then better, then worse...but wouldn't it make sense to feel worse, then better...and then maybe stay the same for a while? Is this short lived feeling of improvement really credible? Or a weird fluke?

I can't quite figure it out or wrap my mind around this...none of it seems logical to me. Why would I take a drug, feel terrible when I'm on it, better when I'm off of it for three days, not begin taking it again but still start to feel worse?

So frustrated.
Current treatment (began June 10th 2009):
Biaxin 1000mg/day, Pulsing Flagyl 500mg/day 1 Week Every Month

I also wanted to say that I only pulsed Flagyl. I did it for 7 days and that's it. However, and I'm citing a post from Ticker, the description below seems to be dead on even though it is referring to someone taking the drug continuously:

Days 1-6 Mild worsening of symptoms - aches, pains and general malaise. There are often palpitations and some difficulty breathing.

Days 7-10 The honeymoon. Patients feel dramatically better, often with all pain gone, energy returns.

Days 11-21 Unfortunately the honeymoon does not last. While the joint and low back pain may go away, malaise and neurological problems come on with vengeance. Profound lack of energy and motivation.
Current treatment (began June 10th 2009):
Biaxin 1000mg/day, Pulsing Flagyl 500mg/day 1 Week Every Month

i was feeling like crap for about a month or so.. after doing alot of tests, going to the LLMD and still waiting on igenex. (taking forever). I feel decent.. i don't feel 100%, but i feel somewhere around 70-80% now.. enough for me to deal with the pain and keep on moving.. I almost blocked it out.. i feel it, but i stay positive, or maybe i'm just learning to deal with the pain now, its not much of a shock anymore like it was when it first happened..

the first time i felt good, it was for about 4 days, and i thought i shook it, then the next day i felt like crap again, not as bad as when it started, but still pretty crappy. I was frustrated, i kept positive though... i've came a long ways, every little twitch/spasm/rash/bruise/eye problem/sleeping problems i have dealt with pretty good.. and i'm hoping you get better.. i think your on the right track, this is how i was.. i really think your on your way to being a new person very soon
