HI well the day finally arrived. out of 10 we are blessed with 8 lil beauties 4 boys and 4 girls, smallest one is 14oz largest 1 if 1lb 25oz the 2 who didn't make it we're 2lbs. and poor Jewel was just to small and they to large. i am still crying over it.

but we had a funeral for them, buried them under the trees so they will always have shade from the hot Tx sun. Hoss and Gator will always be missed and not forgotten.

I guess you can not have joy without some pain, makes us appreciate the the blessings given us so much more.

they are home safe and sound now, sleeping and crawling all over. 1 even has a lil additude already..LOL he will growl its sooo cute. and no worries about mom as she is doing a wonderful job taking care of them. when we first got home from the Vet ER. she let Blue the daddy have 1 look and then the cat. after that she  let em know that was all they could see. now if they come even close to her door she shows em teeth. they do not try to challenge her. but give her the respect she needs and leaves her in peace to her precious brood.

i have attached the 2 pest pics i got so far, i hope you enjoy them as much as i do. i hope they show up

You have been blessed!  So sorry about the 2 that didn't make it..    The puppies are just too darn cute!

And to think I was going to take pictures of my veggie garden with so many string beans that I grew, LOL!   Forget my string beans, I love your puppies!

Congratulations RD!

LOL Deejavu! I bet growing string beans is pretty hard. I just made my husband cook me some string beans and potatoes. Yum!

I'd like to see the picture if you don't mind sending it through email.

RottenDog: My heart stopped when I read the beginning of your comment. I hurried and clicked on the photos. I thought you were talking about babies! I thought you , or someone close to you, had all 8 babies!

RD, Your grandpuppies are adorable! I am sure they will help to take your mind off your Lyme misery for awhile. What a great idea it is to make the nest out of a kiddypool!

And of course Momma is a beauty.

i am sorry if i mislead you in my post. but to me they are my grankids in a way.i love all babies animal or human ones. i have waited 10 yrs to get a pup out of my male. he is a awesome dog. i was so healthy when i got him, and he had every kind of training i could think of. he even found a missing child once.
and was the best chaperone when my daughter started dating..LOL because of him she had a lot more freedom them most kids get today. so this make him a supper dog to me.and he knows every trick in the book. he is so smart.

jewel was supposed to go into scratch and rescue 2 yrs ago right before i blow out my knee. it always thought this was a great loss to so many potential lives.

i thought you may like to see a updated pic of the pups. this is of the 1 i plan on keeping. i have named his Cole. he is the spitting image of Blue ( his daddy ) they are almost 3 wks old now.

i have been bottle feeding them for over a week now to help momma, as i dont believe she has enough milk for all of them. and a few nights ago i gave them there first tast of puppy mush. they love it.LOL

they have brought me so much joy. that i truely believe i am doing much better, not in near as much pain, for the last few days now. i pray this keeps up.

wishing everyone well soon :)

RD,
They are so sweet! I want to hug each one, including Mom. Dogs are a wonderful blessing. You pet one, and the stress seems to melt away! Congrats on your babies.

What a family of the sweetest babies and parents ever. I wish I could hold one, pet one, have them all.

Keep posting pictures as they grow.

It's wonderful how animals can make us feel so much better.

thank you :)

we took the babies outside this eveing for the first time. they had a ball. cole even walked over to his daddy and looked him in the eye, as if to say i want to grow up to as big as you. it was so cute.

one would think they would do there business outside. but no they all came in and i had just changed the bedding and did it there :( LOL

they also had there first drink of water today.and are now able to get out of there pen"pool". at 5am i was havent o hunt cole down, he was first man out..lol and i thought for sure one of the lil girls would of been first to get out.

i would be more then happy to post more pics as they grow.

my pain free days are over with tho, sad to say. my back is just killing me and my knee's are spasming right now. kinda like the old saying all good things must come to a end :( i could just cry.
