I'm excited and can't wait to try it! $169.00 to me, is a steal. I'm going to do whatever it takes to get these nasty bugs out of me!

Anyone else have one? Please share your experience with it.

Take it slow at first. I do the highest heat for the longest time--30 minutes. My daughter started with the same even though I told her not to and had a major herx. Make sure you cover the little chair with a towel or 2. You will sweat like you have never sweat before and the chair is canvas and well--you know! I also put a small towel around my neck and have another hanging inside on the top wood support to keep drying off while inside. For whatever reason, I really start to sweat with 13 minutes to go on the timer. They suggest not using the sauna on a full stomach. There is an increase blood supply to the area during digestion and you do not want to interfere with that. Also, drink LOTS of water before and after. Toxins actually get released from fatty tissue and enter the blood stream. You want them to be flushed out. Metal gets hot in the sauna. Careful when touching the zippers. Removing jewelery is a good idea. Depending on what it made of, it can get super super hot. I actually bought a small backless camping chair I use in there from time to time to expose my entire back to the heat.

Hi CG!
May I ask where you ordered you sauna from? Is there an on-line catalog that I can view?

For the price you quoted, I might be able to save up enough $ for!!

Thank you in advance~

Hi Traveler,

I ordered mine from eBay. This is the one I got:

http://cgi.ebay.com/X-LARGE-PORTABLE-INFRARED-SAUNA-FIR-SPA-DETOX-ION-HOME_W0QQitemZ270422350675QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ef66d9b53&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ht_4623wt_948

There are a few others that are available as well. I liked this one because it came with extra's and you can unzip the top and wash it.

I'm not sure why the link is not working. You can always go to eBay and do a search for Portable Infrared Saunas. You will see the one for $169.00.

When reading ttlittestars post she said to "keep a small towel to keep drying yourself off". I was told at the clinic where I did my detox and did sauna every day for 14 months to NOT dry yourself off while if the sauna as it can push the toxins back into the body! Just let the sweat go onto the towel you are sitting on and replace that one if need be. Just wanted to add this. Enjoy, sauna is wonderful!  D

Dowa,

Thank you for the advice. I will keep everyone's advice in mind.

Btw, I wonder if rinsing off after the detox would be a good idea?

I ALWAYS showered at the clinic after the sauna. It is crucial. They say you can actually re-absorb the toxins if you do not shower immediately afterwards. Also wash your hair..  D
