Hi All,
To those of you who have the infared sauna.  How long do you normally use it for each session and at what temp.?  I just recently received mine and I want to make sure I am at the right temp. and time to actually get a good detox.  Thanks in advance!

Mine goes from 1, the coolest, to 6, the hottest. and the timer goes from 5-30 minutes. I do level 6 for 30 minutes. But you need to work your way up to that. Start slow to let your body acclimate to the prolonged heat.

Thanks for the input. Mine has the actual temp. It goes up to 150 degrees. I have been stopping it at about 120-125 degrees. I am a wimp, I know, LOL! But I had only been hanging in there for about 20 minutes. I sweat some, but not a lot. I will try and push for that extra 10 minutes. Thanks again for the help!

I detoxed at a clinic for  over a year. I used a temp of 160 but started with only about 10 minutes and then the next couple of days do 15 minutes and work your way up gradually like that. I worked up to 45 minutes and never did more than that. At this clinic however, they let you come back and do a 2nd one in the afternoon if you can handle it. I did not try that. Sauna is great for your body but let your body get used to it and so it is happy in there! If you are very toxic it will take a few sessions to really work up a good sweat and once you do, you will always sweat. Enjoy, how I miss it!!  Drink LOTS of water!! D

Thanks Dowa for the input. I like to hear from those that have used it and had success. I drink water like it is going out of style., LOL! I will gradually work up in my time. I think I need to bump the temp. up a bit. Thanks again everyone for your input!

Hi Maggie,

I wish you would have visited us sooner. You could have bought one off of eBay for $169.00. I'm glad you got one though because it is great for detoxing.
