I am sure that he will be understanding about your condition. If you have put on that in a week, that is water weight. Are you pushing fluids? I would drink as much water as you can to flush your system. It sounds like it would be counterproductive, but it works. Again, I wouldn't worry about the pounds at this point. They main thing is focusing on your recovery. Besides, most men do not notice what we do. As women, we are our own worst critics. Keep your spirits up!
