I am gaining weight! I mean noticeably since going on my new meds! My significant other (SO) has been traveling on business for the past 3 weeks and will come home on Wed. i went on the meds one week before he left so he will have a suprise when he comes home Wed. night!

I am so excited to see him; however, he deserves a beautiful, fit, fun and adventurous woman...the woman he fell in love with 6 years ago. I need to lose weight to deal with my condition better. I have gained 10 lbs. since he's been gone. Any advice on how to get fit while having to eat to take meds when you are not used to eating? How about how to stay fit when you can't get out of a recliner or go up stairs?

Hey hun. I deleted you other post regarding weight since it had the same information as this post.

I am sure that he will be understanding about your condition. If you have put on that in a week, that is water weight. Are you pushing fluids? I would drink as much water as you can to flush your system. It sounds like it would be counterproductive, but it works. Again, I wouldn't worry about the pounds at this point. They main thing is focusing on your recovery. Besides, most men do not notice what we do. As women, we are our own worst critics. Keep your spirits up!

I was told by my LLMD to eat foods that have a high Alkaline
content . . . Try avoiding foods that are acidic.

Can't remember the site but search for Alkaline and Acidic Foods
that will bring up foods that are from each category...
