Hi all:
Does anybody use the Zhang protocol allicin? My daughter is complaining that I smell like garlic: tried chlorophyll but it upsets my stomach. Any suggestions?

I have been eating one to two fresh cloves of garlic daily, but I usually cut up a some fresh ginger to throw in with it too, with pasta, salad or mixed vegetables. I also drink green tea and throw crystallized ginger in it.

My husband and daughter both hate garlic but havent complained or noticed any smell, so I am thinking the ginger offsets the odor? Don't know if theres anything to back that up other than my own personal experience, but you might want to try some ginger with the garlic. Ginger has over 400 compounds in it and it very good for your immune system and digestion too.

I havent found anything to erradiate the smell...  but if thats the only trade off, for me its worth it :)  I told my husband to just deal with it :)

Hi,
I am also having problems at work because of the garlic smell of the allicin. What I've found that works some is to get a detoxifying body scrub and I use Mint Asure breath capsules and 200mg of Now Chlorophyll. On another blog site the detox soap was recommended and I found Collective Wellbeing Charcoal Body Wash at Whole Foods. If I shower with that in the morning and then use the Mint Asure capsules after the meal that I've taken the Allicin and the chlorophyll it seems to cut down significantly on the odor. The Mint Asure capsules have parsley seed oil in them which my naturopath has said will not interfere with the efficacy of the Allicin. Sometimes at work we open the windows to get an air exchange if I'm smelling up the place. ... this is such a blast, isn't it, folks? Anyway, some days are better than others. Stay strong.
To strongmom, I try to take the Allicin and chlorophyll in the middle of the meal. Perhaps that might help?
