Are you feeling any better since you cut down on the rifampin and HH capsules?

thanks for asking CajunGrl,

I think I was herxing from three things. I quit the rifampin because my arm hurt so bad. I had upped the dose of HH-2 but also started a joint supplement called Rapid Response which I just found out is also used to kill fungus like ringworm and it kills bacteria. I lowered my HH dose to what I had been taking but did not improve. Yesterday I took a break from the Rapid Response and last night I was much better - no hot flashes or headache or shin pain. I started it again today - glad it is just a herx. I was so worried that I was relapsing and the arsenal of stuff I take quit working - it was just overworking! I also realize that I am not well even though I do not feel bad most of the time.
I am wondering about the joint supplement Rapid Response. It is super expensive but if it helps with bartonella, it might be worth it. It costs about $80 a month. I can't leap to conclusions now but will continue to take it and let everyone know if it seems to make a big difference.

So glad you are feeling better and it was just a herx! Even though I have never met any of you, you all stay on my mind even after I log off.

Thanks again CajunGrl. It is uplifting to know there are people in the world like you. I believe one of the good side effects of this disease is discovering how many kind and caring people there are in the world. This site is full of them and it is very "catchy". When you have suffered you want to reach out and help those still suffering.
