Does anyone know of a Lyme-Literate practitioner in Michigan? I'm in Mid Michigan, but I'll drive anywhere to see a doctors who knows his/her stuff

Let me know that you.
Very mild left sided (could have fooled me with the "mild")  UC. Started and stopped LDN ON 1/25/09 to mid May no improvements. Supplements: Probiotics, multi, iron, caprlic acid,  trying a new peptid replacement therapy, started Lialda on 8/31/09. Getting IV of vitamins and minerals for 12 weeks. I take lomotil as needed.

Hi, I don't know of any reputable llmd's in MI but I see a very good one in Waupaca, WI. I don't know if that is helpful for you but if you would like his information I can send it to you.

Hi CajunGrl,

I did my epsom salt bath and hydrogen peroxide bath last night, I've done several epsom salt baths before but never added the peroxide, I will keep this up.

I have ulcerated colitis but I'm can tell you it's mostly like a symptom from Lyme's.  The medication I take, rectally, a suppository helps with the inflammation and bleeding. I know in no way is it curing me. I'm confused as if I whould continue taking them. Any suggestons?

Thanks
Linda

There are several doctors here in Michigan who treat lyme disease. You can call the Michigan Lyme Disease Association to get a referral.

1-888-784-LYME(5963. Linda is our president and she can help you find a doctor.

therearemiracles,

Yes, I would continue the suppositories. I had colitis about four years ago and used those suppositories and they did help. The inflammation needs to be reduced so that the bleeding lessons.
