So, I called today to ask the questions I forgot to when I was in the first time. He did not order my co-infections tests through Igenix because they are expensive and he goes by symptoms. But, If I want them, he will do them. however, they like you to go to your  local lab first since it is cheaper.
I tested positive for bands 23 and 41. The nurse said that 2 out of 3 means lyme positive. However, when I asked if I had an official Lyme diagnosis, she wouldn't answer that question. But, she said I shouldn't have problems with my insurance companies covering treatment?
Also, she said I do NOT have to follow a special diet when on treatment. I kind of am bothered by that because this is what this doctor does for a living and i think they should have told me about the sugar thing with yeast. But, I dunno. I guess I am satisfied so far. I just don't know what will happen in the future.
Now I have viral bronchitis. I feel like crap!

Hang in there. You got the exact same bands that I got when I got my "negative" WB from labcorp. I went on to get a lumbar puncture (ordered by neuro) and was able to get an extra vial of fluid to take to a special lab for my LLMD. Bebasia and Lyme were found in my spinal fluid.

Lyme can go on clinical diagnosis alone, just like MS or any of the other diseases that don't have a definitive test. Read up on Lyme. There is a lot to learn and you will likely recognize symptoms that you never considered or even forgot about. I am reading the book, "Cure Unknown" and recently watched "Under Our Skin". I highly recommend both. Good luck :)

Thank you! I read the symptom list on this forum and was in awe. It is amazing how many I have! I am still just so glad that I have been diagnosed and that there is treatment. Now i just have to find one that works. I hear that lumbar punctures hurt like nobody's business...I am so glad I didn't have to get one of those.
I am in a lot of pain today...just within the last couple of hours. I just started my lyme treatment yesterday, so I dunno if I could be herxing already. I have this darn virus, so I think it might just be from that. I took a detox bath and it helped a lot. It is just hard for me to know what is going on now when I am not just suffering from lyme.
I do need to get books and watch that film. I have A LOT to learn! Good luck to you too!
