Ya know, they messed up the Lymerix vaccine.... then they convinced everyone they need an H1N1 vaccine.  They reported a month or two ago that the majority of vaccine would be available by October.... here it is October and about 1-2 weeks ago they said that they had enough vaccine but that delivery would be slowed up.  AND NOW - I just watched the head of the CDC say that they really don't have enough of the vaccine to deliver AT ALL!
I am not a conspiracy theorist (but I love to read them - lol!) but jeezalouiza, how can these people either be SO WRONG or SO UNTRUSTWORTHY?  I mean they either have NO CLUE what they're doing or they are deliberately misleading the public.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.  - Margaret Meade

You make some really good points. Right up until I was diagnosed with LD and started to research it, I believed in and trusted the CDC. I'm now shocked at how naive I was and no longer trust anything they say or do. I'm sorry for sounding like such a pessimist but I've learned too much in the past year to think any other way.

Don't even get me started on the CDC!  I could go on for days,  really.  But try Googling CDC and conspiracy and I'm sure you'll come up with way more than you ever wanted to know about them.
It would be cool though if someone like Michael Moore would show up at one of their facilities and threaten to let a jar full of ticks loose and see how if they still say ticks are mostly harmless.  "Oh well since these little guys are so harmless,  I'm just going to let them all out now,  they look pretty hungry.  You don't mind if I dump them here on your lawn,  do  you?"
(I can dream can't I?)
