Besides getting better, because that's what I'd like for Christmas, what do you want? If you have kids, what are you getting them?

Well, I would REALLY love a flat screen TV! lol I know that I'll never get that this year but THAT'S WHAT I WANT!

I'd also like a new front door. We are "trying" to remodel...well, my husband is and I want to change our front door.

I'm getting both of my girls a laptop. They've both been wanting one since last year and I can finally get them one. I'm ordering it and don't even have to leave my house! Ha! Don't you just love being able to order things? The Internet is difinitely my friend!

So tell me....what do YOU want Santa to bring you???

Hmm...Well, my coat zipper broke, so I new coat would be nice :)
Other than that, I would be really happy if I just got pills (or donations)...it's sad, but they cost a lot of money.

What type of laptop are you getting CG? I just had to buy a new one, because mine broke (it was the only computer I have).

Mmmm... I would like someone to do the yard. Every time I see it. I'd like to go out there and fix it. Alas I am just not well enough.

Mmmm...Pull out all this carpet that makes me sneeze and put in something healthier.

I would also like to reorganize the house. It's looking pretty sad. I think it would help my whole family feel better to have a change of scenery. Somehow painting does not seem conducive to detoxing.

But Santa should be able to make it happen.
That is what I want for christmas besides health for me and my family, positive health care reform and world peace.
Ok now I sound like I'm running for Mrs. America or something. LOL! What can I say?
My family and I have been enjoying my life without dairy gluten and soy for many years.

Found out about it in spring of 2009 that I have been living with Lyme for over 8 years. My symptoms of Lyme have been Mini-Strokes/TIA's, Hashimoto's disease, swelling of my liver and kidneys. Anaphylactic reactions to raw apples, raw carrots, and Beef. Allergies to dairy, gluten, and Soy.

We haven't had furniture in our house, or a bedroom for more than two months so for Christmas what I want is to get my house back together. It would be wonderful to have a bedroom again where I could put my things away and be able to find them again. Does Santa do baseboards?

I want my downstairs neighbors to quit smoking and learn to close a door without slamming it. Plus, I'd like them to stop their kid from bouncing his basketball against the living room wall for 45 minutes at a time. I think they should limit their arguing to before midnight and they should not yell at their kid before 8 am on the weekend.

Wait, I know - I want new downstairs neighbors!!!!

Seriously, I'm pretty happy with what I have (except the neighbors!)

Cajungrl, we slept out at Best Buy for Black Friday so we could get a new laptop for my son. Unfortunately in my part of the country, this means you have to get there on Wednesday.

Okay, the ones that are wishing for health and pills, no, no, no!! lol. I want to know what you want IF you were healthy. We need to think like a normal person to do this. Our minds are so wrapped around this disease all the time. I know it's hard, believe me, I'm in pain all day, everyday, but just try....please:):):)

And my Husband's allergic disease to go into permanent remission too.

Nicky: We're deciding right now but I think we're going to get them a Dell Studio 17. They love music, videos and movies so this laptop is great for that. My oldest is going to college in June to be am EMT, so the laptop will help her tremendously.

Dagger: OMG!! I bet that line was so long! My sister-in-law tried doing that last year and there was nothing left by the time they were able to get in. I think it should be a crime for stores to do that, lol.

I would love a two hour massage, followed by a two hour nap and a quiet candlelight dinner for my husband and I. Is that to much to ask? LOL!

Dagger,

Btw, I used to have neighbors like that. They drove me nuts and I have no clue how I would deal with that now being sick.

Isn't there a website for that - badneighbor.com or something. Your neighbors sound like good candidates. Wishing for you that they take a holiday vacation so you can have some peace and quiet!

I would like 2 things:

1.  Implants in my upper gum so I can wear a bridge again and don't have to wear dentures anymore!

2.  A house in Vermont (especially one that has a view of a lake).

I want to weigh 45 pounds less. I want to plan vacations. I want another dog (a blue Australian Shepherd). I want to take no pills. I want to wash my walls. I want to have friends over for dinner. I want to be able to run 2 full miles along the Bayshore. I want to paint and do my artwork. I want to laugh, daily. I want to plant an herb garden. I want to fly up North a few times each year and visit my parents. I want to learn how to rollerblade. I want to drive to Key West for long week-ends. I want to give my husband a back massage. I want my step-kids to be proud of me. I want to go back to school... I might even want to go back to work!

I want to be an active participant in my own life again.

And, I want to spend my time doing everything and anything to spread awareness of, exact testing for, and immediate and adequate treatment and CURE of Lyme disease.

Great post Jelaine! I'd like to go back to school myself to get my nursing license. That was my goal when I finished Phlebotomy and EKG school. Now it's on hold and I'm not getting any younger!
