I have been experiencing my legs falling asleep for a month or so and today my arms fell asleep several times. Anyone else have this symptom? Any clue what this means? What am I missing?

Thank you for you help,
My family and I have been enjoying my life without dairy gluten and soy for many years.

Found out about it in spring of 2009 that I have been living with Lyme for over 8 years. My symptoms of Lyme have been Mini-Strokes/TIA's, Hashimoto's disease, swelling of my liver and kidneys. Anaphylactic reactions to raw apples, raw carrots, and Beef. Allergies to dairy, gluten, and Soy.

I get this all the time. Just thought it was a lyme symptom.
When this happens I adjust myself in a different position,
and sometimes it helps and sometimes I just deal with it.

Its hard at times when I pick up things and just drop them not
remembering that I dont have feeling, and sometimes the feeling
is painful with all the lil pinpricks. I thought is was a circulation
problem.

Hope someone has the answer

May be a circulation issue, but also may be a neurological issue. My legs like to feel tingly just sitting in a chair - and forget sitting on the floor (both legs go to "sleep" & then I can't get up)...and I know I have neuro issues in my legs from Lyme.

I do have lyme in my brain. It was so weird having my arms fall asleep. I was just sitting and my right arm started tingling and I could not feel sensation.
The other times I was laying on my back.

It is reassuring that this is a symptom. My doctor has told me to take magnesium aspartate and petadolex. I'll let you know if it helps.

Once in a while I wake up with some numbness in one of my arms.. Perhaps because I put one of my arms underneath 3 pillows with my head on top, alot of pressure!  As soon as I wake I do adjust my arms and then I'm fine.

I remember when I was a kid and I would get charley-horse (sp?) in my feet and I would hop around on one foot!  Glad that hasn't happened to me in a long time.   Once I went swimming and I swam out way too far and got that charley-horse in one of my legs and wow, I was scared because I was way out there in the ocean and no one was around so I kind of floated back to the beach using my arms, whewwwww! smhair
