I would like to start a new thread about Lyme Disease treatments in Mexico.

I am not endorsing any protocol, I just want to gather information.

Please share your research or concrete personal experience.
Please save casual opinions for other threads.

I will start the discussion about two protocols I have researched on Mexican sites...

Apparently there have been rumors of some success with a 5 drug IV protocol outlined below:
I think the famous Mexican singer Thalia was treated with this:
Trixona 1 amp english ceftriaxone
Klamoxyl 1 amp clindamycin
Lisonin 1 amp lincosin/lincomycin
Binotal 2 amp ampicillin
Dicloxacilina 1 amp dicloxacillin/dynapen (penicillin type)

Also, I read an article from a Mexican doctor who had luck with:

roxitromicina y trimetoprim/sulfametoxasoI, (roxithromycin plus co-trimoxazole)

More and more the Mexican doctors are starting to echo the North American protocol of 200mg/daily
of doxycycline for 3 weeks. In my case, this was insufficient.

Here is a link to the Sanoviv clinic lyme page. I have no experience with this clinic nor do I have an opinion. I simply have this info in my "library" .

Sure they will pump you up with as many abx as they can with a pic line.
But I am sure that they must know that these infectouse diseases are abx resistant. And that it does not matter how many that you take. Without a edta...the abx just pass right on by.
Lyme was man made before world war 2, by the german's and the japs. And then us of course.
The silient bomb. And abx resistant. That is why the altrnative treatments work.
Abx....is just a waste of time for cronic lyme.
And it will kill you.
Imagine...getting hooked up on all of those abx...a big coctail...and then you are. Resistant to abx, and then low and behold, you get the darn flu over there. Well then what?
You die of the flu is what.
Our family all got lyme in 2004. It has been a long battle. But all is well now with my children. Feb 8 TH of 2009 is when I left Envita. And I am celebrating a year of perfect health.

There are plenty of people that have went into remission from antibiotics! DIfferent things work for different folks! and MV the Flu is a virus and anitbiotics dont treat that anyway!
We all can agree to boost the immune system!
Im not sure I would trust going to Mexico for something they offer in the states!
