Is it okay to eat chips? if yes, then what kind. I read almost all chips contain whey, or gluten.
How do you find a non-gluten chips?

It's best to avoid all processed foods as much as you can and eat fresh living foods--organic if possible. If you feel the need for something salty on occasion you can order some gluten free crackers and pretzels from Mary's Gone Crackers at http://www.marysgonecrackers.com/ns/ourproducts.php . Good stuff! : )

For other gluten free foods you can go here: http://www.glutenfreemall.com/ You'll find lot's of good gluten free products here. Good thing about this website is that there are user reviews so that you'll know before ordering if the product is getting good or poor reviews. Still gotta be careful though, just because it's gluten free doesn't mean it's healthy. Some of these foods have high sugar and salt contents. Balance is the key.

Freeze-dried fruits & veggies make a good snack also. Some health food stores sell a variety of such foods, or you can make dehydrated fruit slices (apples, pears, peaches, etc.) and sprinkle a little cinnamon on them just prior to dehydrating. Slice the fruit into water that has some Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) powder added to help prevent browning.
