I want to know if any one knows about hyberbaric and lyme. I understand that there is different strains of lyme and some thrive with oxygen and some do not.
Also someone told me that lyme is able to be passed between husband & wife either sexually or just by kissing. Is this true?

The most recent studies that I have read suggest that the POSSIBILITY of TBI's being able to be passed sexually. There have also been recent studies where 'they' have proven that TBI's can be passed from mother to fetus.

I'm a firm believer that each and every person who contracts TBI's will require a treatment that is as unique as the individual who is being treated. TBI's like to 'use' the weakest points in our bodies to get in & so the patient will have a more difficult time in those areas. For me, it's my digestive system & joints.

The very best thing you can do for yourself is to get educated!!! READ, READ, READ!! We have to be our own health advocates.

Hope this helps a little...
It's been said:LD patients can be as ill as people w/ congest. heart failure & in as much pain as post-op patients.

I agree w/ Traveler - one must read and come to one's own conclusions. There are case reports of transmission through the birth canal from mother to fetus, or through breastmilk. There are no official studies regarding sexual transmission that I know of, but given the relation between Lyme and Syphillis, I wouldn't be surprised if it was possible in some specific/rare cases (such as if a person was immune-compromised).

HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) for Lyme: I've heard mixed results like everything else used to treat Lyme...some swear by it. However, I've also heard that if one has mercury toxicity that the HBOT is not a good idea.....
