I juice mostly green veggies, occasionally adding a granny smith apple. The biggest help for me was juicing cabbage and ginger every morning while on abx. They are healing to the stomach/intestines and I believe really kept me ok. If you use ginger, only juice a small piece, like 1" or less. It's very powerful.
In the evening I may juice up kale, ginger, parsley, cabbage, carrot, celery. Sometimes I'll add a clove of garlic, but it makes for a really potent drink. Really, whatever you have around can go in. Hubby credits this drink for keeping him cold/flu-free all winter.
