Hello
I am new to this forum. I have POTS and IC. I was dx with POTS in 2006 but have had bladder problems since 1989. I was just dx with Lyme in December. I did two months of doxy and then took 6 weeks off (lyme md change) and now am back on doxy and rifampin. I would love to hear from other folks with POTS or IC. Both illness require so much fine tuning of medication, fluid, salt, diet etc and often what helps one hurts the other. My bp was out of control this week and now my bladder is miserable. I just started the rifampin and am worried it might irritate my bladder. Thanks!

Ummm..... how bad is your pots? I take it your getting up and around? I take 2.5 mg of cortef and it helps some. Theres another one i forget the name flourcortisone or or something it to help retain your fluids and minerals. Also as im sure you know stay super hydrated. Stand up slow if need be, etc.... Hope this helps ya some. Theres an actually treatment for pots I think that its maybe potassium, cortef, and the flour-ONE...keep me updated with your POTS interested... Stay up. Feel Well. Brian

DGL Plus(by pure encapsulations) helped the IC I had. I'm also not on any meds now.
