Hi All,
I thought I had stretch marks from higher dose of steroids I was on in Feb, but now I am wondering if this is bartonella rash??
The rash has gotten worse every time I have been on zithromyacin, I don't know if this is just a coincidence.  It has just kept spreading since Feb and it doesn't seem to make sense that stretch marks would have continued spreading a month after going down on steroids?
How can I tell the difference in bartonella rash and stretch marks?
Does a bartonella rash Feel different than stretch marks (itch, hurt, feel irritated)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Paulette, go to google, choose images  and use "bartonella stretch marks" You'll find examples of them there.
I've been searching for pictures myself and remembered running across those. I can't find an image for mine, but I guess there are over 40 different kinds.
They can itch. I had some on my back that itched and others on arms and legs never did.
Its very mystifying.
I'm curious why they form in the first place. I understand a lyme rash that forms at the tick bite site, but wonder why these form.

Forgot to say mine aren't stretch marks though. They're red dots very close together in short lines. Anyone have these?

My LLMD thinks that I have bartonella, I have small patches of spider veins here and there, also swolen veins in my leg and under my tongue and small red dots mostly on my stomach. I tested negative....we will treat anyway!!!!
