My cousin scored
IGM-  1 out of 3 reactive
IGG- 2 out of 10 reative

ELISA- scored . 96

Her doctor didn't treat her. Should we be concerned?  I never had the Western Blot, so I dont know as much about the test. She is showing arthritis in her ankles and hands. (like me)
Have been misdiagnosed for 4 years until March 26, 2010.

Thank goodness for good information and the little bit of brain I have left  or I would still be misdiagnosed! Thank you to Rockbridge Labs for letting me walk in and having myself tested and taking my word to pay!

If this was done through a standard lab instead of a lab that specializes in tick-borne illness testing, then it would be best if your cousin could be re-tested through IGeneX or another Lyme-literate lab (MDL, Clongen, etc.).

Also, one must interpret the lyme test results in the context of symptoms, being ever aware that the tests are often negative when in fact the person does have Lyme - hence why even the CDC/IDSA say that Lyme should be a clinical diagnosis (i.e., based on clinical presentation of symptoms and not based solely on test results).

An LLMD may offer more insights for interpretation of these test results, also... Good luck,
