Stayed home from work today as I am feeling terrible.  Feels like the flu but I'm sure a herx.  I had stopped the zithromax on my own because my eye neuro problems got so bad.  took a two week break to refuel to be able to battle the insurance company and then started back on amoxicillin two weeks ago (the usual time before I herx).  I suppose its a herx as everything hurts and totally exhausted.  Luckily I'm in a better place emotionally and psychologically to know that its a herx and just deal with it and enjoy the day on the couch.
Any tips on how to deal with the herx?  Drinking lots of water and doing what I can to keep busy.  Thanks.

Hi springsjean,
Sorry to hear that you are having a tough time. I have been taking amoxicillin and zithromax for a month now and feel pretty sick most of the time too. I see the LLMD tomorrow and am curious to see if he will have me continue with the same mix of abx or change it up. I have a hard time identifying a herx event. I have been sick for so long, I forget what it is like to feel well.

Have you noticed any significant improvement in your symptoms? I hope that you start feeling better soon.
