Hi Jen,

Thanks for sharing these articles with us. I hope at some point we turn the corner and all doctors become aware of the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. It seems like many of us have similar stories to share regarding our own runaround with doctors before getting diagnosed.

We have to keep getting the word out about Lyme.

Keep talking to your own docs, keep bringing them articles, research and stay calm. Some do listen.

My Dr's have always been open and listened to me, some didn't, but the ones who didn't, I just calmly gave them the 411 and it's up to them what they want to do with the info.

Yes, we need to keep at it. I'm no longer sick with lyme, but will always fight for the cause.

:-)

I was on 4 diff abx for 5 months, it made me worse, but could have killed off some of the bacteria, not sure
Then I just took herbs in oil form, changed my diet, exercised more, rested more, stressed less, balanced my PH.

I still have bad days, but went back to work full time and also take courses and I am 2 yrs into getting my naturopathic certificate. I have 1 yrs left to go.

I think healing is a collective thing, trial and error. You need to listen to your gut. My gut was telling me to off all these damaging abx and heal with balance.

This is what I am doing & it's working some on my GP!!! He now asks for me to bring in articles - especially when I need to see him for a possible re-infection.
It's been said:LD patients can be as ill as people w/ congest. heart failure & in as much pain as post-op patients.
