Possibly, but best to contact your Lyme doctor about this - difficulty breathing and soreness of the chest can be from something else also (I was admitted to the hospital last year with a pleural effusion - water in the lining of my lung - when I had chest pain and difficulty breathing).

Chronic Lyme Disease, Bartonella (clinical dx only), Gluten & Sulfite Sensitivity, Many Food/Inhalant/Medication/Chemical Allergies & Intolerances, Asthma, Gut issues (dysmotility, non-specific inflammation), UCTD ("Secondary Lupus-Like Syndrome"), Osteoporosis, etc.; G-Tube; TPN via PICC (trying again to wean off the TPN).
Meds:  IV Cipro, Heparin (to flush PICC line), Singulair, Claritin, Domperidone, Colloidal Silver, probiotics, digestive enzymes, Milk Thistle, Magnesium, homeopathy.

Unlike Razzle, I have had no serious issues with my lungs (or my heart for that matter), although I have experienced soreness in my chest area. For me, sometimes it's the muscles between the ribs & sometimes it's just on the inside of my ribs, or the muscle that cover the outside of my ribs, but every time I have experienced this it has gone away without causing other issues.

IMHO, I would suggest you get it checked out by a doc, though - 'better to be safe than sorry' kind of thinking.
It's been said:LD patients can be as ill as people w/ congest. heart failure & in as much pain as post-op patients.
