Hihihi, just an update for those who are interested in the beginning stages recommendations of a Lyme doc in the UK:

I went for the first time to a Lyme literate doctor, here in the UK where I live. Basically he thought my symptoms where practically what he would call the late beginning stages of lyme. I told him the med I was taking previously (Doxycycline 200mg a day for 2 weeks & after 400mg a day for 1 month) and since my symptoms reappeared after they lyme being dormant after taking the Doxycycline now he has put me on Amoxicillin, Zithromax and Fasigyn for 6 months.
I had a rash but he wanted me to get blood tests anyway so the tests done are: Western Blot (IGX-188 and 189), DL-BH6 Immunology Profile, DL-BH7 Infection Profile and DL-BH1. Not really sure what they all are but I will look it up on the Internet.
I will get the results back in 1 month, since they send my blood to the US. Then I will meet the doc again in a month and depending on the results he will adjust my treatment accordingly.
He also prescribed The-Biotic-Complete for the belly.
I hope now I am on my way to recovery!!! For real this time!!!

God bless you all.

ineisa,

That is awesome! It sure sounds like you are on the right path. I have one question though. Is your doctor checking for co-infections? It's really important to treat co-infections before treating Lyme.

Hi Cajungirl,
Yeah, he is, one of those test is for that, to see if I have anything else. Let's hope not!
I wonder how I am going to feel taking all those antibiotics. Antibiotics make you tired right?
