Hi-
Am over on the Crohn's board. Pulled 4 ticks off myself-2 yesterday(big) 2 today(smaller) Little maggots were in my cell phone holder. And no I did not save them-they had a viking funeral.
Too late to call my doc until tomorrow-do I automatically medicate and risk messing up my intestines or do I risk it and wait until I feel sick? Input would be appreciated.

Nate,

If I were you, I would go to a health food store and get homeopathic Ledum and take 2 pellets under the tongue 2-3x/day for at least a week. This will not mess with your gut, nor will it interact with your other meds & supplements. Wait 15 minutes before & after food to take the Ledum. There are cases where Ledum was able to kick out a Lyme infection before it could get started if the remedy was taken immediately upon tick bite discovery.

If I were you, I would also find an LLMD and contact them about their recommendation. The Ledum may or may not work for you, so I don't want you to pass up an opportunity to kill this nasty infection with Doxycycline or another antibiotic before it gets a chance to become entrenched.

Good luck,

Hi Nate,

I would advise seeing a doctor and getting on antibiotics immediately as a precautionary measure. You should see a LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) if you develop a rash or any Lyme related symptoms. Good luck and please let us know how you make out.

I think the ledum is a great idea and I would also add one of the good nano colloidal silvers and take a very high dose daily. I have both on hand in case we are bitten by a tick at our mt. cabin.
