Some of these posts are just getting too long. I can't follow them.
not even the one now about Cajun stepping off.

First of all.. Cajun..don't stop being moderator. You do great job.
take time off but this forum needs you.

I would gladly volunteer to moderate but I don't think I am qualified.
I would be letting people have it when they are out of line. so I would actually
get out of line telling someone else they are out of line.

You have an amazing amount of tack and patience.
We get new people who basically do not know how to act.
They really think they just discovered America because they found a few controversial
articles on lyme. Truth is they are not in their own right mind and are so pissed they
have this disease they are looking for a fight . Or they get up on the soap box and are gonna
tell us all what is the real truth about lyme world. It's almost part of the disease.

If you have been disrespected by anyone just take them off the show. It keeps the scene more respectful.

This is not a place for debate. This is a forum for sharing LOVE AND INFORMATION.

we have no scientists on board other than nassalady and she NEVER claims to know anything about the rights and wrongs
of lyme testing and labs. She is too busy trying to survive her treatment.

This is what we want to hear..possible new ways of relief, and when we are angry or sad or suffering we need to vent and get
a little detox advice from each other.

it's called SUPPORT.

If anyone wants a debate............go somewhere else. get a job with the CDC. what ever.... this ain't the place for it.

I'll be moderator, Cajun. If you think it is SAFE. But truth is you are great at it and I have seen you handle some real psychotic abusive people.

Thankyou for being here......

we got a good gang here.........we gotta support our moderator girl.

Ditto - but not about being a mod!! What a mess that would be!!! I wouldn't be lettin' people have it out - I would be admonishing everyone to play nice with others & mind their p's & q's all of the time!!!
Even the mightiest oak tree was once a little nut who held it's ground!!! May we all find peace along the journey to find healing.

Traveler

I agree witth your post.

bucci, if you dont like a particular thread, then you dont have to get involved with it. We were having a disscusssion and you guys and others stepped in. The members having the dissucssion had no problem with each other, so there was no need to moderate. It was the outside people who stepped in for no reason.

This Fourm is for dissussion not just talking about your day. Disscussion and small playfull arguments may really one day push to get all this figured out.

These are the type of people who will stand up and fight for the correct answers, for themselfs and you guys too.

Dont read the Lyme Lab threads if you dont want to, its simple as you stated. Or just ignore it.

However, there are way more many people who have clearly expressed they Want to talk about the Lyme tests, so there is no need to post on a thread like this.

And on the other side, there are people like me who dont want to read about people being sick and how bad there day was, as it makes my symptons even worse, I dont want to think about it I dont think its healthy too.

But I dont post on those threads, I dont even read them.

So thats what anyone who does not like them should so also.

This is a very fair and reasonable statement.

you right Traveler . I would be Moderator from hell. I wouldn't let them fight it out but I would be cutting off any of the people that really are just looking for an argument. It amazes me how some people really believe that the info they have no one else hasn't heard before.

all this really upsets people who are trying to have 5 nice moments out of a day of pain , sickness and all the financial burdens that go along with this.
this is serious stuff. and it is just beginning. We need compassionate, intelligent people like Cajun but maybe she need short break.

It's nausiating sometimes. I can't read all this stuff. How does she follow EVERY post? this is like a 10 person job.

Motox, spot on, I don't read all threads either, only the ones that look interesting to me, normally they are about test results, antibiotics etc but I choose NOT to read the ones where people tell how bad their day is. For me when I hear how bad people are doing it makes me feel worse as well, so I decide to skip those, but the ones that are with people's opinions on a semi debate I love. It makes me think and I think that is a good thing.

wll I can see I may have not fully explained myself about the psting thing.

Yes MOTOX it is here for all the discussion and SUPPORT.

I know we are all interested in improtant information..especially labs.

I think what happened here as does with many email communications between people is
some of the posts were taken to be a bit HOSTILE and ARGUMENTITIVE,

This is your thread I believe that all this hoo haa is about?? yes??

somehow it got out of hand but not according to you . It sounds to me as though you are telling the moderator when she should or should not be moderating.

The only thing i see going on here really is you are still defending your position. and it isn't even about lyme lab testing ..It is about how people should read posts and when the moderator should stay out of the discussion.

I would love to hear what treatments are working for you and don't give a hoot what your labs said because that topic is like a tar pit and always has been.

Perhaps this is your area of expertise?? lyme labs??? are you an MD. a biologist? I forgot?

and telling us what the moderators job is..... I don't know , Motox.

The issue is never really the issue. and remember , my friend, nobody's pains are too slight.

One day you may be really sick and freaking out with off the wall symptoms . This disease has a way of coiling it's way around you . Especially when you try all these different type treatments to eradicate it.

Either way................so what is the conclusion everyone has come to through your discoveries.
i love a new guy coming on board with new information.
not really interested in hearing your expertise on what a moderators job is.

so what about the labs??? maybe try starting your INFORMATIVE thread over again so we all can hear some concrete info. all the bantering got a little out of hand.
who'se posts got deleted? was it even your's or someone you pissed off?

lets hear the facts....have you done any more research?

are you getting treatment of any kind?

Motox -- I have not yet taken sides w/ anyone -- I don't believe we should have any 'sides'.

Bucci posted some very valid questions to you. Why do you choose to not even comment? I see no inappropriate questions there.

I'm not going to 'fight' anyone, but am here for answers and to occasionally offer support, keep track of what is goinng on, and often unload.

WEll, we certainly cannot allow her to go because of one or 2 posters. I can imagine how she must feel w/ some of these attacks, however, I am hoping that she can do her job, blow them off when appropriate, and kick them off if they continute to badger good folks.

She has certainly done a great job of moderating. And I know it is a very tough job!!
