This is probably covered in the "new to lyme" section, but truthfully I have a hard time reading and comprehending lots of information. How do you do a detox if you only have a shower?

Hi Victoria!!
I think I was probably the one who posted about that! I had been reading that several different people here are like me with only a shower in their abode. I happened to already have the materials.
I had a watering tub (for farm critters), made out of some type of a black plastic. It is only 2 &1/2 ft wide by 3 ft long, but since I am only 5'1" I can fit my body, 1/2 at a time, into the tub. So Hubby cut a hole in the center of the tub, just big enough to stuff a sink stopper into. I drag it into my bathroom, load it into the shower stall, and let the shower head fill it up!!!

I hope this helps!!!

I was wondering if it wouldn't work to use a large garbage bag if it were tied around the upper body and filled with the warm water and bath ingredients. Inexpensive, disposable, and don't have to worry about storing it when not in use.

I'm trying to think what I would do that would be really easy (I don't have Traveler's expertise!)

How about an inflatable pool?  It's summer time now, one can wear a bathing suit and fill it with water and wait until it warms up in the sun...

Or if one has the space where they live (this is what I would do), I would inflate the pool in my den, yeah, and attach something to my sink so I can fill it with warm water...

I took a look at Amazon.com and they have some pools, even with back rests, woo hoo!  This one costs $30.00 and I believe you can free shipping... It was $49.00..

Whadda think?

Depending on the shower stall, putting a pool in the shower could also work. Even if it's kind of crunched in there, it would be okay. Good idea, Denise.

Thanks guys. My new apartment has a shower that is really big. I'm going to get an inflatible swimming pool and stick it in there. My last place had a great old bathtub (the kind with the club legs - I miss that old tub).
