My LLMD has suggested IV zithromax at her office once a week for eight weeks.  Seems like something I can afford.  Just she is an hour away and with school starting up soon is going to be a project with the kids.  Just wondering if anyone had any luck with IV Zith.  My insurance company has refused me IV rocefin.  Doing research now to see if zithromax causes the brain barrier as it has hit my nervous system and I have lesions on the brain.  Thanks so much.

i was told it was about $7000 a month so I chose to send my kid to college instead, hoping alternative treatment will do the trick.

No, IV Rocephin is MUCH cheaper if you order thru a company like Infuserve or others out there like that. Mine came thru the Walgreen's home IV program.

I was on 4 grams a day X 7 and the cost was something like $ 268- per week! It was all pre-mixed and shipped in these little sterno looking canisters.

Shipped via a medical company and on ice packs. Too bad I had a reaction and had to CHUCK out 2 weeks worth!
