Quick update...Just finished my 4th IV H2O2 treatment---so far so good, but need to detox more I think--having quite a bit of herx, but that may be from the Doxy.--which I'm still on.
Have ordered a Heavenly Heat FIR Sauna---should be here in a couple of weeks. That should help pull some of the toxins out. Also using "coffee"....not for drinking either. :) Using the detox bath and foot bath from HANSA---foot bath is great for the headaches.
Will start Neprinol AFD (like the TPP protease from HANSA's treatment protocol, only better) tomorrow. That should help my joints and help break apart the bio-films as well.

Am working with a doctor in Atlanta, Dr. Ou, to get my immune system back together. He uses Dr. Datis Kharrazian's protocol for treating Hashimoto's thyroiditis, which heals the immune system as well as the thyroid. He is a brilliant doctor---one of the few "experts" in the nation on "energy medicine". (uses the NES protocol) I think he and Dr. Jernigan would get along great!! :)

Everything just takes so much time. I feel like life is in slow motion. Can't make any long term committments---long term, meaning like next week! The fatigue is overwhelming at times.

Have been dealing with Meniere's for the past 18 months and thought I was over this "flare", but it seems to be flaring again with the onset of the Lyme symptoms--which tells me that "Meniere's" is merely a "symptom" of Lyme!! It flared last night and this morning---but it's better following the H2O2.

All for now. Blessings to everyone!
Linda

Good luck with everything Linda. I have actually decided to go a more natural route too to fight this disease. I am going to the Hansa Center in a couple weeks and am very excited to meet with Dr. Jernigan. Keep us posted on your progress!

Ashlie,
I'm so glad you are going there! I really believe in the treatment protocol they do there! I have Dr J's book and have read a lot of it. Plus I love that they treat body, mind and spirit! :)
If I had the funds, I would be on a plane! :)
Please let us know how it goes.
Blessings,
Linda

What part of Atlanta is Dr. Ou located? I am now in PA but lived in Atlanta for 5 (long...) years....so could get around there if I needed to.

Also, is there anywhere to get Dr. Jernigan's book at a reasonable price? I didn't see a price on his website, then Amazon appeared to have it for $39.95 from him, but when I looked at the used prices from other booksellers, they were over $100. Didn't make sense to me????? I doubt I get to his clinic but would sure like to have the book.

Please keep us posted about your sauna and if you see a difference when using it.

So your long term commitments are next week???? Mine are next day and sometimes even next hour. The bad days make me anxious because it seems like they'll never end....the good days make me anxious because I want them to stay and know they won't.

All the best.....

Mamyou:
Where in PA are you? I tried to email you but your email is unavailable. I leave in PA also. Maybe you can email me your dr's name, when you get a chance?

Simela, This computer won't let me e-mail thru the forum because it's not set up. Frustrating for me at times when I want to send a webpage. I am in SW PA, very close to WV line. I wouldn't recommend my doctor right now because I'm his only lyme patient (guinea pig...)...up to now he has been referring all patients to a doctor in Morgantown, WV. That's one of the reasons I'm so grateful to the forum....I can learn then closely watch and question his decisions....Much to his dismay!!

Simela, I'll try to figure out how to get my e-mail address available to folks in the forum...whether or not I can access, I can be reached!

Mamyou - maybe I'm being massively ignorant here and misunderstanding what you are trying to do, but if you are trying to make your email available to people on this forum go to "my profile" at the top left of the screen and then "edit" and you will see a place where you can make it available.

Nope, Willowrose, you're far from ignorant. I'm computer illiterate!!! Yes, I figured it out so my e-mail is now available if anybody needs it. Thanks for your post....

Yes, it took me a while to figure that one out, too. I guess is set unavailable by default, so don't feel like you are a computer illeterate!

Mamyou: you are the oposite side--I am on the SE of PA
It may be good that you are your doc's first Lyme patient--maybe you can be involved in the process and also, maybe that will force you to learn EVERYTHING there is to know about your condition. My PCP was clueless and said I don't have Lyme for one year! He was nice to run the tests for me, but he didn't know how to read them! I don't know why I never bother to ask to see the tests until a year later, when my pain got worse... I guess I wanted to believe me. My new PCP was sort of shocked to find out the thought I did not have lyme. She took one look and the results and he said "you have lyme" I guess as long as you are in charge and make decissions with your doc, it's ok. I wish I was more informed at the time.

His mistake will cost me dearly... I am hopeful that my baby is ok (I was + for Lyme during pregnancy, but he did not know how to read the tests).

The thing about being my doctor's first lyme patient is the fact he is enthusiastic. He knows I will question yet will work with him, so at least for the time being it's a good relationship.

Truly Simela, there are more and better doctors and integrative practitioners out your way than there is in the western part of the state. We have had nothing until maybe a year or so ago. As I said in one post, our area runs about twenty years behind. This site will be my life saver.

I am so sorry you were given wrong information....so unnecessary. We will all pray your baby is ok, but if she's not, at least you have the wisdom to get her the help she needs.

Here's to a good tomorrow....
