I thought this might be of help, especially with all of the new members we have had lately. This is a link to lymedisease.org - upon arriving there look on the left hand side, about 3/4 down the page & you will see "co-infection chart". If you will click on that 'button', it'll take you to a .pdf that has a chart with columns for the infection (Lyme, Babesia, & so on), the vector, the causative agent, endemic area & symptoms.

PS - Under the title of Lyme Disease you will see that it says STARI or Masters' Disease - this was my LLMD - RIP - Dr. Edwin Masters. He proved that even though a patient doesn't test positive for LD, the LD treatment still will resolve the symptoms. This is how I got my foot in the door to start being able to see an LLMD & get some treatment for what was getting to be quite a serious brain infection. This man was a great Tick-borne infection researcher & LLMD!!!

Hope this may help someone to understand...

Trav - Is this why you don't have access to an LLMD....because he passed away? I'm so sorry. I copied this site to my list of favorites - as I do most of the sites that are posted here. Thanks for sharing.

Actually, that is/was only part of the reason. There is actually another LLMD that moved over to the same area where Dr. M used to practice. I have not been able to travel the 1,000 miles to see him each month since 2007.

Thank you for your concern. :) :)
