How does a person know whether the meds are working and you feel better OR if you are feeling better because the abx may not be sufficient?

This is puzzling to me.  This week I have been getting better and better and better every day!  Yes I am loving it.   It might be because I just had that iv detox vit C/glutiathone or because they added ceftin and andrographis complex to my meds.  I dont know but my head is clearing wonderfully and I feel sooooo good.

Today my thigh muscles are so sore because I guess I overused them with all that pent up energy I was using.  But my symptoms are so mild now.  Even after just taking the abx, it used to feel like some herxing going on and now...almost nothing.
I am happy but should I be?

It happened so subtley too.  I realize thinking back that the heart palpitations are gone.  Gone also are the inside tremors, headaches, most numbness, crushing fatigue.  This is a good thing?

I still have the horrible sweats that are drenching to say the least.  I guess that is the babs.

Is it possible that I need on something even more or stronger?

Alot of the results might be the fact that I was only bit 3 months proper to treatment, I dont know.  then again I could wake up tomorrow and have it all hit me like a ton of bricks again!

What do you think?

Goodness, yes!

Usually you get a worsening of symptoms when you first start your medications. Then, like you are now, you should start to feel better. You will then notice a leveling off of improvement and you'll have some not as good days as others.

When you haven't improved for a while and even start slipping back, then it is time to switch up or increase your meds or add different supplements. And then your symptoms get worse and it all starts again, with an overall trend of improvement.

Hooray, you are on your way!

Relax Scorp! Enjoy not feeling so bad!! Giggle! It's funny how we can even question not feeling horrible! Don't worry - I think lots of us do!

I have nothing to add that someone else hasn't said - but Congrats! You are feeling a bit better!! Hopefully it will continue!!

Adding Ceftin didn't make me herx either-- maybe a day or two of feeling a bit off.

You are on the road to getting better!   Hooray!

Do anticipate some down days, though....they are normal. Don't get discouraged.
