I will be starting on Samento, Banderol, and Nattokinase in a month or two and it seems that my doctor's office is charging 2-3x's the prices I am seeing on different websites. I know there are different brands, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good place to order them, and what brands are best (if the brand makes any difference)? Thank you!

so interesting you ask that.  I was searching a little earlier because I saw where my NP is adding about 30%.  So I found the best prices for NUTRAMEDIX Samento Cumanda and Burbur (which is what I was looking for) at webvitamins.com.  I saved $28 on the purchase of these 3 over hers.

I HAVE NO INTEREST IN THAT COMPANY (but wish I did  lol)

With what my doc was charging I'd probably save $40+ ordering it online. I was surprised at how much they inflated the prices. As if I'm not paying enough with the doctor visits being 100% out-of-pocket. I will look into those sites.

Do you usually take these all about the same time together, or do they need to be spaced out? I will be on 3 abx and those 3 supplements, and I'm not sure whether I can take them all at the same time twice a day, or spread them out throughout the day. I also have to squeeze the probiotics in between all of that.

I'm assuming they won't have any kind of reaction with the abx since I was not told to take them apart. And taking them all together would be a lot easier to remember. Right now I'm only on 1 abx and vitamins and I still nearly forget most days.

if you google 'lyme enzymes', there are 3 names that come up. Depends on the dr but some believe they are extremely important. They are the nattokinase, lumbrokinase and serrapeptase. interesting info on them all.

I swear the serrapeptase got rid of blood clot for me.

Alaska:

I just starting taking Banderol and Samento this last week. Mine are the Nutramedix brand. I've had them a while, so can't remember where I got them. I hope they don't go bad. I've been wondering about that and whether I should order a fresh bottle of them.

A great place to get any supplements a gluten free stuff is iherb(dot) com. You order it and have it the next day in your mailbox. It's wonderful and the prices are terrific....way way less than you local healthfood store.

What is the ABX that you are on and how did your doc tell you to begin the herbal stuff? If you could let me know, I would appreciate it.

I too have no financial interest in iherb (dot) com and wish I did too! ha ha

Carrie 48 - Right now I am only on Biaxin for mycoplasma. When that is done in about 3 weeks I will begin 3 different abx, but he wants me to start one at a time in case I have any reactions (Ceftin 500mg 2x a day for a week, then add Minocycline 100mg 2x a day for a week, then add Flagyl 500mg 2x a day). He mentioned doing the same thing with the supplements Samento, Banderol, and Nattokinase so I have an idea which it is if I suddenly have problems.

The one thing that confused me is that for Flagyl the receptionist wrote down "last 10 days of each month." Does that mean literally taking it the last 10 days of EACH month, or I'm wondering if they meant to write the last 10 days of the month when I begin the abx, then regularly after that. I may have to call them to verify.

I'm also taking probiotics 3x a day and Vitamin C tablets 500mg twice a day, and he wants me to up to 1000 mg twice a day soon.

Also, I had some rashes when I was young from Amoxicillin so he wants me to ease into the abx in case I am still allergic to anything. Haven't had Amoxicillin since I was very young and I know some allergies go away and new ones can form.

I am not sure who you are asking but I take all 3 of those enzymes at once. An NP advised that.

Also Carrie, I read that the bottles are good for several years but once opened, they should be used within one year.
And of course you know not to keep them near anything magnetic or electronic, including refrigerators?
