I just finished amoxocillian for a bladder infection (this has been my primary problem, recurrent UTIs). Within less than a week of finishing the ABX, I had intercourse with my husband and now have another UTI.

I'm so bummed and frustrated over this. But I went back to the dr. and got another RX for amoxocillian. However, I am going to *try* to eradicate it with olive leaf extract since this has worked for me once in the past.

I used to take a low dose of olive leaf regularly just as a preventative and it seemed to work. The interesting thing is that when I took it today, I am having die-off from it. I did not have die-off from olive leaf in the past, but I was not treating for lyme at the time either.

So my question is does anyone know if olive leaf is used for lyme and/or co-infections making it possible to have die-off from it (b/c that's what seems to be happening!)?

Thanks!

Don't quote me on this but I think I have read that some people take Olive Leaf Extract for Lyme. I take Samento and Banderol which definitely cause me to herx. I'm sure others will be along with comments on the Olive Leaf..

I used to get UTI's but haven't had any in a long time. I remember how painful they were....I literally could not walk when I had them!!! I feel for you. Hopefully you'll get this under control soon!

I break up my post because my eyes have been effected by TBI's as well, making long paragraphs very hard to read.
