I had a Brain scan and it was clear and they said I dont have MS... I am waiting for the Igenex test to come back but my Doc is almost positive I have Lymes ... a later stage Lymes... I had Adrenal Fatigue which is what originally lead me to this Doc and hen when I didnt get much better from treating that he said had been exposed to Mold (which I did work in what they call a Sick building for the last 4 years) but then after treating that he thinks I also have Lymes so we are waitng for Igenex tests t come back.. hopfully next week ..

I read that "damage to the brain" can occur during stage 3 Lyme which occurs from months to years after beig infected. So, it would seem to me that it would really depend on the person as far as how long after a bite they would develop.

My LLMD is yet to suggest to me that this is a possibility or concern; I am 9 mos post bite. However, I am having more neurological symptoms than in the past.

My dr. ran brain MRI which revealed brain lesions when I presented with facial burning and vision problems on top of all of the nervous system stuff. Of course neuro didn't have a clue about lyme, but that's another story. I believe I had lyme for about 6 or 7 years prior to having the MRI.
