Just took these this morning , first time .... and I feel like I might be getting a herx .. aching jaw and teeth , thoughts feel racey and broken up , can't focus well , feel "zappy" arms achey , dry cracky feeling in throat , dry weird feeling eyes ( about half hour after I took it ) ... my jaw aches UGH ... anyone else get herx from taking these supplements ???? What if there is too much of something like the vitamin A or the iron ?? I am already usually high in iron ...

Hey,
I've been taking chlorella regularly for the past month and I haven't experienced a herx from the chlorella, but it does seem to make the antibiotics I'm taking hit me a lot harder. I'm no expert, but the symptoms you are describing sound like a herx and not an overdose of iron or vitamin A.

so I've been doing some reading ( not too much though my brain feels jumbled and unable to focus well today ) .. but seems that spirulina and chlorella are heavy metal chelators ? so I wonder if it moved metal around but maybe couldnt' move it out ( hence not detoxing on any other levels ... )

I've been taking spirulina the last few days and
Every time I feel queezy, last night I couldn't stop
vommitting (I also took B vitamins)
Is this a herx effect? I don't know if I should discontinue.
I have allergies to shellfish but seaweed I'm usually ok??
