Hi everyone, I hope all is well. I've been doing research and wanted to know if anyone has heard of these herbs before and if so if they saw success? Here is a link from a doctor that uses these herbs.

Apparently they do the following:

  • kill the various forms of borrelia (the Lyme germ),
  • decrease and eliminate biofilms,
  • treat dormant Lyme germs that are unresponsive to prescriptive antibiotics, and
  • prevent Lyme disease relapse.
  •

Doing both medicine and natural practices (Colonics, Infrared Treatment, Aqua Chi Foot Baths, Vitamin C Powder, Probiotics (excellent if you're on antibiotics), Magnesium powder, Vitamin D supplement (I'm deficient in this area) and B12 and Aloe Vera juice (helps a lot with digestive track as well).

Thanks a lot! Yes I'm hearing that the herb is strong. Is it strong in means to the die off? I will check out previous posts.

I pulse Banderol and Cumanda together with Samento.

I've been on this regime since September and I'm slowly improving,I am still suffering from arthritic pains but most of the other symptoms have gone.

It's a long haul but I'm getting there

Okay since I'm new here, what is pulsing/pulse? I know I'm sensitive so if I start I would do it over the weekend. I'm detoxing every week through colonics and infrared sauna treatment so I pray my herx won't be so bad. I have herxed before and I thought I was going to have to call 911. It was bad! But I made it through.

I searched previous convos on the herbs and found those helpful as well.

God I'm so happy I found this forum. Everyone is so helpful!

Pulsing therapy is being on medication for a specified amount of time and then being off of it, then back on, then off...etc. Many times, when treatment is close to being over, my llmd likes to do pulse therapy because when the lyme bacteria feels threatened, it can change form, often going into cysts. It is more difficult to kill it. When the body is less threatening because abx are no longer coursing through it, the lyme comes out. The idea is to get them then.

Pulsing is also done to see if someone still has lyme. They should not feel a herx when they get back on the meds. If they do, they still have lyme.

Pulsing is also done to limit the die off to an amount someone can handle.

Herbs can be very powerful tools against lyme. Might I suggest you introduce them into your body slowly. My llmd has a great rule of thumb that has always worked with me. He suggests that you introduce a new pill to your regime a maximum of 1 every 3 days. So say you are taking 2 doxy and 1 Azithro. First you would start with 1 doxy for 3 days, then 2 doxy for another 3 days, and by the 7th day, you would be on full dose of all 3. This way you give your body time to adjust, and it gives you enough time to see if your body doesn't agree with a medication. This way, you can better determine which medication affects you adversely, and can stop the one, rather than the entire protocol. This includes herbs too.
Undiagnosed lyme, bartonella, anaplasmosis, babs for 25 yrs with a 16 year old that I passed lyme and coninfections to daughter through pregnancy. We both began treatment 1/6/11. Still treating. Daughter will be a success story hopefully in 2013!

Wryter, make sure you take a good probiotic with any treatment. One of the better ones is Therbiotic complete by Klaire Labs though there are many good choices.

Some other natural antibiotic supplements out there that would be good in a Lyme protocol are p73 super strength oil of oregano by North American Herb and Spice and grapefruit seed extract (like WWJD mentioned) which is supposed to act as a natural cyst-buster.

Good luck and keep us informed of your progress.

My daughter has done wonderfully on these! She started with Cumanda and Samento, then switched to Banderol and Samento. She also rotated Serrapeptase and Bromelain with them; and parsley/Burber/glutathione for detox. You do need to take the enzymes on an empty stomach. Yes, be patient!

Look up the Cowden Protocol. Its uses these and other herbs. I felt GREAT when doing the Cowden herbs. Nutramedix sells the whole protocol. I highly recommend it.

My goodness this was helpful. I do my IV treatment every few days. I did the last one too close together. My doctor doesn't believe in the daily IV treatments and reading what all of you wrote its effective. I wish I knew about pulsing sooner. When I started my supplements I started all on the same day! Yikes! I take probiotics too, very needed. I will say that Samento and Banderol are on my list! Now if my legs can feel better again. What a journey. Glad we have each other!

For those of you that mentioned GSE, what dosage were you on? I took one 300mg capsule 2 days in a row last month and was in horrible pain after the second day and so I stopped taking it. I know it was a herx, but just felt like I couldn't handle it at the time. I started it again tonight; I need to bust up these cysts!
