I know that I need to do this b/c I'm getting die-off from the anti-fungals I just started. But I'm a little anxious b/c I haven't done it before.

However, I've done 2 liver flushes in the past, which are great, but were tough on my body. Should I expect the same from the enema? Is it difficult to do, and on the body?

I just started coffee enemas two weeks ago at the advice of my naturopath. I was getting pretty bad die off herxing from the essential oils that I'm using against the lyme & company (I'm deathly allergic to antibiotics so, those aren't an option for me).

I've done six of them so far and I can tell you that the first one for me was the "worst", as far as back cramps and nausea that occurred during the hour following the release of the coffee. I made 6-7 more trips to the bathroom. However, when all was said and done, I hadn't felt that great in a long time !!! I think my body was dumping a ton of toxins that it had been hanging onto during the herxing.

As mentioned, I've done several since then. The second and third coffee enemas resulted in maybe two trips to the bathroom after releasing the coffee. And the one I just did about 30 minutes ago, resulted in one trip back to the bathroom after releasing the coffee.
Only the first enema produced back cramps (bowels) and nausea.

I run two tablespoons of organic, caffeinated coffee through my coffee maker with water up to the "6" marker on the side. Pour 12 ounces into a 64 ounce plastic tumbler and put four ice cubes in it to get it to cool down to about body temperature. The melted ice brings it back up to 16 ounces. Then I use an enema bulb (with plenty of lube) to infuse. I can hold 12 ounces for a good 15 minutes.... 16 ounces I can hang onto for about 10 minutes.

Go slow, only infuse as much as you're comfortable with.

I'm SO glad I didn't baulk at my naturopath's suggestion of coffee enemas....!!! They have detoxed me to the point of noticing: sharper vision, decreased light/sound sensitivity, decreased muscle tension, decreased neck stiffness, decreased joint pain, decreased brain fog, etc. etc.... all of which has led to much improved sleep.

As with everything in life... "your mileage may vary."

Give it a try. You've got nothing to lose but "toxic crap". :)

I added coffee enemas back in February and now them almost daily. Seems like a lot of work, but I find them so helpful that I don't mind. I often get instant relief from them, incredible really.

I just started antibiotics five days ago. I am definitely dealing with the herxing now. Yesterday I started wi the cofee enemas, determined to do 2/day. The first one did produce a lot of cramping but I did notice a huge imrprovement! The next few have gone very well and I definitely would recommend as I notice improvement and releif from herxing everytime.

I am a HUGE fan of doing coffee enema's!!

The first time I was really nervous so I bought those disposable enemas, emptied one out, and used that for a coffee enema using organic coffee.  It sounds worse than it really is...  So then I bought an enema kit and have been doing them for years now.

Well for 7 years without any symptoms ~ used Dr. Jernigan's protocol.

Our bodies are wise as they can heal themselves, all one has to do is nourish them properly. Thus it's about the Immune System mixed with Daily Detoxing, a dose of Positive Thinking, and Lowering Stress Levels.

I come back to help others for others helped me when I was sick. Pay it forward! :-)
